I just have to say THANKGOD this shop changed hands!! The previous owner (old Greek lady) was horrendous & very rude! The gf batter was awful! We stopped going because the owner was so horrible to deal with & prices changed everytime we went like the wind.....she used to make it up as she went & when asked if it was a mistake would lecture the customers. The new owner that has taken over is FANTASTIC! They have completely improved the menu. Theyâve added GF options onto ubereats.....lowered the prices.....thinned out & improved the batter on fish (so youâre actually eating fish rather than thick rock hard batter with âwafer thinâ fishđ).....when you order flake, you actually get flake now! Rather than a substitute (as if ppl canât tellđ¤Śââď¸) ....improved burger patties (actually has flavour now!).....gf bread rolls are soft & not frozen for 3yrs & stale.....they actually fry the onion in burgers, imagine that!! (...which is what youâre supposed to do!).....the chips are sensational! Actually taste like proper fish & chips, not cardboard......omg I could go on & on!! The summary is....whether you are GF or not, but especially if you are GF the new owners have improved this chip shop 1000-fold!!...

Seriously, this thing was about the thickness of flimsy cardboard (and it was rubbery as hell) I understand things are more expensive these days and that's not the issue. Trying to pass this off and charge someone $20 though is taking the absolute piss. Go down the road to flake shack instead that way you won't get screwed over.    Read moreThe fish and chips were pretty decent, fresh and tasty and while a little higher priced than other fish and chip stores, it would have been worth it.
The let down was the cash only payment, forcing you to withdraw using the ATM machine in the store which has a $3 surcharge. Essentially this bumps your already pricey for fish and chip meal another $3 and this left a nasty taste in my mouth after. I mean, you could be prepared and bring cash here when you're looking to grab a quick meal, but it would also be easier to keep driving 30 seconds to grab a meal from any of the other fast food restaurants down the road without this issue.
