Enjoyed an absolutely stunning three course meal here last night celebrating my friends birthday. The entire evening was so wonderful - staff were fabulous - so professional and seamless. Quality and presentation of food was outstanding and the wine list is so impressive. The feel of the restaurant is intimate, classy and sophisticated and I simply love it. Three course meal is $99 pp and there are so many wonderful options to choose from. Enjoyed the stuffed Zucchini Blossoms with Prawn for entree and shared the Bisteca cooked perfectly medium rare to my liking. My friends enjoyed the Tassie oysters and the kingfish crudo - both had great comments. Had sides of green beans tossed in pesto which were lovely and the roast potatoes, love that they offer half serves so you can try more ! These are at an additional charge outside the three course but very worth it depending what you order as your main. Was great accompaniment to the steak. The desserts were great - creme caramel the clear winner beating Tiramisu which is usually my favourite at an Italian restaurant. The Langhe Nebbiolo I choose was divine - earth, dry cherries, soft and supple with elegant fine tannins a great choice to pair with the various courses. Fabulous being our hood suburb restaurant that delivers real quality! Will definitely be back.

We were invited to an education dinner tonight held at Centonove, and the experience overall was very enjoyable. The event took place in a private upstairs area, which was exclusively reserved for our training session. It was a great setting for a more intimate and focused evening. The food was a definite highlight. I had the scallops to start, which were fresh and well-prepared, followed by a beautifully cooked pan-fried barramundi. For dessert, the chocolate fondant was rich and indulgent — a perfect way to end the meal. My colleague ordered the beef carpaccio, BBQ pork, and pannacotta, and they were equally pleased with their dishes. The quality and presentation of the food were impressive across the board. One small issue was the setup of the table and presentation equipment. The placement of the projector and monitor could have been better thought out, as staff occasionally bumped into the equipment or unintentionally blocked parts of the screen while serving. It didn’t detract too much from the evening but is something that could be improved for future events. All in all, it was a great night — good food, attentive service, and a productive learning experience. Would happily return, whether for another event or just a nice dinner.

We had one of the most delightful experiences at this fabulous restaurant. The food and presentation was just first class. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The stuffed zucchini flowers filled with prawn and ginger with shellfish butter was just superb. Followed by John dory ,seaweed and potato roesti ,cornichon and a caper sauce , reminded me of the days when as children in Sydney each week our parents would take us to Doyle's at Rose Bay on the Wharf for a John Dorey meal. How a meal brings back such great memories. The spaghettini and spanner crab chilli and garlic was also a fantastic meal ,as was the half shell scallops with lemon and parmesan crumb. The deserts of Tiramisu and the honeycomb semifreddo was just what was needed after such a superbly stunning meal. Coffee great. This is most definitely a restaurant that must be on that special bucket list.

It was $157.07pp between two people! It includes a drink each as well. 😊

REVIEW: 👨‍🍳 The food was delicious at Centonove. The portions were more generous than when I've been to other restaurants, even for the entree sizes. Favourites: Zucchini blossoms. Magical. Prawn artfully stuffed into a zucchini blossom, fried with the thinnest layer of batter. It was delicious and we wanted MORE! Fried local calamari. Amazing batter and again, their fried game is phenomenal. The fried mint gave more character to he dish and I was glad there was so much of it! 🍃 Spaghettini with crab. Crunchy pieces of pangrattato with a silky, glistening yellow sauce. Spaghetti was on point with some bite, and the combination of chilli, crab and garlic is a tale as old as time. So yummy. 🦀 The duck dish came with sides as well, so I didn't think we needed to order the additional sides. They were great though!

🤔 The service was great at times yet also there didn't seem to be much communication between the staff. 💓 The brunette waitress thoughtfully split out the entrees and mains in a way that we weren't overloaded by having all the entrees at once. Our fried calamari came out with the spaghettini pasta! I loved this intention. ❓ However, in between finishing our first mains and waiting for our second, we were asked by 2 different servers if we wanted to see the dessert menu? I already ordered dessert, and we were still waiting for our 2nd mains... lack of communication between staff is not something I would've expected. 🎂 The staff also made the dinner so special for my friend's birthday. A candle and a...
