So disappointed. Went to get my hair re-styled, said that I wanted to keep the length, which was pretty long after growing it for a couple of years, and the hairdresser seemed to understand what I was saying, telling me she wouldn't cut on my shoulder to prevent my hair from 'flicking out'. When I put my glasses on to see how the haircut was going, I realised that my hair was now jaw-length - an extremely unflattering haircut for me with my face shape. She then proceeded to cut in extra layers around the front of my face - further accentuating how awful the haircut was for my face shape. At the end, I told her that it was shorter than I had expected, and she replied "Doesn't it look so much better?". No, it does not. I will not be going...

Despite living in regional Victoria, I have been coming to Lou for over 7 years. Her professionalism and hairstyling are top notch - and she has this incredible intuition of knowing exactly what I want. I was so excited to see she's bought her own salon and have visited twice over the past six months. Lou is a delight! A great hairstylist and a professional friendly person with a great rapport with her clients. The good thing about a great cut...it lasts and still works brilliantly and the COVID lockdown certainly challenged this theory: so for me it was14 weeks (I'm a short haircut so usually 4-5 weeks max) and I was still getting compliments and people asking where I go to get my hair cut!
