Chicken Depot is a family owned and run charcoal chicken shop located on Burgundy St, Heidelberg.

The customer service is great, super friendly and everything was packed well. I am forever on a hunt to find my favourite chicken schnitzel roll in Melbourne and i think I’ve found a spot here in my top 2.

The choice of bread is elite, the Mayo is super tasty and the schnitzel is perfectly seasoned and crisp. You know when you’re so full but you don’t want to waste it and power through? This is that time. 😂 The only thing I would love is the option to add extras like onion and tomato (which if I asked, I probably could’ve got). Chips were delicious!

Visited Chicken Depot with my family and we were seriously impressed. The chicken was absolutely spot on. So tender it practically slid off the bone. You could tell it was cooked with care and the seasoning was full of flavour and cooked to perfection.

The salad bar was fresh and tasty with the “Green Goddess salad” stealing the show. I even went back for seconds. Also the scalloped potatoes were soooo good!

A special shout out to the new owners who were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their hospitality really made the experience even better.

One of the best chicken shops I've ever been at. Starting with the salads and other condiments, the selection is wide but importantly as fresh as they come and delicious. The chicken is succulent, the seasoning from the stuffing is probably the best I've ever had, and it's cooked to perfection. This chips are very good too. The service is outstanding and the gentleman there know their product/s well. It's worth the 8k/m drive to get there and importantly the whole family love the taste.
