We went a couple months ago for the first time and liked the food and the place, decided to go again. The food overall was okay this time (popcorn chicken good, fried chicken burger and beef burger was good), we also got 2 buffalo chicken burger and the chicken was raw. I ate mine thinking something wasn’t right but didn’t want to complain too much. My partner did tell them about his and they re made it (they were nice about it). House wine advertised for $6 on their menu (House Red, House White listed on top of each other with only price $6) but we ended up paying $9 because apparently only house white is $6 and house red is $9. Very misleading. We ordered our last round of drinks at about 6.45pm, still paid full price although happy hour wasn’t finished yet, unsure why as happy hour is advertised until 7pm. Overall was okay but sadly, after the raw chicken, wine being advertised for less than you’ll actually pay and not getting our happy hour price because it’s close to finish, won’t...
Read moreSome friends of mine and I ordered last night from Uber Eats.
We called ahead to see if they were open but after 15 minutes of each of us trying to call, not a single person answered the phone.
After placing our order on uber eats there were still no updates for about 35-40 minutes. We weren't sure if our order was being processed so we called again. No answer.
Our food arrived after one of the friends in the group started driving to the shop to see if anyone was actually there.
The chicken itself was tasty enough, but there were no sauces included with our order contrary to what the menu said was included with each main. No syrup was given with the chicken and waffles or the popcorn chicken. The breading on the chicken was a bit thin and flaked right off, but it still tasted pretty good.
The chicken is decent enough but after our mediocre experience with this place we probably won't...
Read moreStopped in for a quick lunch. Lovely sunny day in the courtyard, reasonably quick service however my duck burger was CRAZY spicy. No where on the menu did it say the word 'chilli' or 'spicy sauce' and within a few bites my mouth was on fire! I tried to separate the bun to avoid the spiciness but it was killing me. Told the server who apologised but did nothing to rectify the fact that I literally could not eat the food I'd paid for. Left my lunch mostly uneaten and very unhappy - my food was so spicy it burnt the taste buds off the middle of my tongue and gave me a split on my bottom lip. I paid for my mouth to be sore and damaged, to leave hungry and for a display of utter apathy from my server. Wish I could upload the photos of my mouth & lip. I will never eat here ever again, the whole experience was painful and disappointing :( Posted 1 star because you can't...
