Customer Service was good, the food was above average and overall probably the best charcoal chicken place this side of Pakenham, that I have found – Further details below:

Customer Service: Family run business and willing to help, order taken promptly and no errors. Didn’t ask if I preferred the Leg or Breast(Wing) – you may have to ask. There is a $10 minimum EFT rule.

Food: Chicken was a little dry (but I was provided a large breast piece) The chicken piece is quite big (which I thought was a bonus) The Chips were spot on The Gravy was perfect Was a little too salty for my taste Serving of food is very large – You could probably split this order between two

Atmosphere: Is clean but its dark due to the colour scheme and the shade from the outside windows, there is no place to dine in (at the moment) cause all the tables and chairs are stacked up.

Overall: It’s not the best Charcoal Chicken place - but there aren’t too many around this central part of Pakenham. I would certainly recommend this place as the best one in this...

Asked for extra salt on the chips, didn’t get one granule. Chips were short cooked, soggy and borderline inedible. Having to wait an extra 45 seconds to cook chips properly won’t kill your customers but the undercooked food and putrid state of the shop might. Chicken tasted overbearingly like charcoal fumes, the kind that are not good. Potato salad was the most bland and pathetic excuse for shop quality food I’ve ever seen and the gravy, all be it nice in taste, was served in the bottom of the plastic bag because the lid was not fitted correctly. Been going to this shop for 20 years, has been on the slide for a while. If you guys don’t give a rats date about your customers health or food quality any more perhaps it’s time to buy a newsagents. Writing this review the next day after getting food from here because I can’t stop thinking about it. This place is a gem. Easily the best charcoal chicken shop in the area and cannot recommend it more. We ordered both the the fried chicken and charcoal chicken, chips, salad and gravy for the family and none of us could not fault any of it. The charcoal chicken was fresh and juicy with tasty stuffing. The fried chicken somewhat resembles KFC which is always a good thing. The chips were hot and crispy and the gravy was the perfect consistency. Not too thick or watery like some of the other charcoal chicken shops.
