Best Vietnamese Restaurant in The West- St Albans- Culinary Gem – Authentic Asian Cuisine at Its Best!

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Asian restaurant many times, and I can’t recommend it enough! Whether you dine in, take away or order for catering a party, they do it all.

From the moment I walked in, the warm and friendly atmosphere welcomed me, making it the perfect spot for any meal of the day.

The menu is a treasure trove of authentic dishes, each bursting with flavor and prepared with the freshest ingredients. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you'll find something mouthwatering to satisfy your cravings. Their famous street food selections are a must-try! The vibrant flavors and unique textures transport you straight to the bustling markets of Asia.

For breakfast, I indulged in a delightful rice dish (Com tam or bo ne) that was both comforting and delicious. Lunch featured a spicy noodle dish or Pho that left my taste buds dancing, while dinner brought an incredible Vietnamese pancake (banh xeo) that was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and packed with fresh lettuce, herbs and a mouth watering dipping sauce- a must try!! There's also banh trang tron, a very delicious and famous street food. If you are looking for more of a family or group setting meal, must try their lau or canh chua HOTPOT, that will surely impress your taste buds as it did ours.

What truly sets this restaurant apart is its commitment to affordability without compromising quality. You can enjoy a feast here without breaking the bank!

If you’re in search of authentic Asian cuisine in a friendly setting, this restaurant is a culinary gem that should not be missed. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings! Not to mention how friendly, honest and down to earth the restaurant owner is. This restaurant was featured in the famous St Albans food tasting tour guide.

There is parking out the front or walking distance across the main road.

I love the fact that you have the option to split the bill too. Food can be easily ordered and delivered via Ubereats and Doordash. All these options, made life so much easier and convenient.

My Favourite Restaurant of ALL TIME!...

Charged higher prices than prices stated on menu.

Had the Bo Ne to share between two of us as we weren't that hungry. While the food was tasty enough, the experience at payment was less than enjoyable.

Menu stated the dish was $20. Paid $50 cash and was returned $28. When I enquired about the difference, the lady informed me that it was an old menu and the price had gone up for a long time. Being a first time customer, I'm not sure how I was suppose to know that. She then informed me that new menus were on the way.

I left the restaurant but was still feeling a little dissatisfied so gave the restaurant a call an hour later after getting home. I asked if she recalled me as a customer and explained that she informed me that the menus were old. This was when she denied saying so and instead said that the higher price was because she charged more because it was a serving for two. Having checked the other photos in reviews, it looked similar if not a little smaller because some had two meat balls instead of the one meatball served to us. We also did not ask for additional cutlery. At the end, she did offer the $2 back. Asked if she could transfer the money into my account but she insisted that we had to come back to the restaurant. However, I live a little too out of the way to make the trip again.

I think the issue could have been avoided if I had been informed of the price increase prior to ordering, Whether it was because of larger portion or new menu prices. $2 may be a relatively small amount but it feels like either dishonest or prejudiced...

Thank you so much for help us prepare foods for my son's baptism. All our guests were very enjoy every dish, foods was delicious. The owner was make sure the foods are hot and serving food on time with affordable prices. I would recommend anyone who looking for restaurant to do small event.
