Run Away From This Place:- I Will Be Contacting The Concerned Governmental Department To Check Qualification n Visa Status Of staff who dont know anything about their menu items n over charging customers.. It’s a fraud. Owner has alot of explanation to give to the department now.
Receipt attached, it’s not a fake review. Went there for the first time and it was utterly disappointing. Would not recommend anyone who wants to go and enjoy food/drinks. Untrained unprofessional least knowledgable staff. They dont know anything about menu items. Called kitchen staff, even he could tl difference between their chilli chicken & chicken 65. Indian staff dsnt knows about indian dishes. This is a joke. I am not sure, how they are serving lebanese cuisine from previous owner..?? Buying readymade falafel, hummus n serving customers ? 😟
Took server who was very hesitant to tell his name by addressed himself as GATIK, over 20 minutes to get 2 coronas when they only had 1 table.
After discussing 3 items with kitchen staff, he sent nachos with just chips topped with sour cream and tamarind sauce. No salsa, no guacamole. When i sent the item back thru server to kitchen to be served as written in their menu n discussed by kitchen staff, the server came back and said sorry we are out of salsa n guacamole. As chilli paneer was already ready, we had it as we didnt want to come across as rude. However, chilli paneer was only half in quantity on dirty plate with no coriander and tasted aweful. If people check their menu they present on table, chilli paneer is for $18 however, the guy and his mate HARY charged us $19 saying they cant find chilli paneer on the statem and we should not whinge for $1. That was very rude comment by staff and unprofessional customer service. Youngsters who want to go for drinks n dance, please visit this place. Otherwise for dining purpose please don’t go.
RESPONSE TO OWNER:- Within a month’s tine, other customers left same negative reviews fir poor customer service and pathetic. They also complain that you guys over charged them. So you guys are repeated offenders in ripping customers off. You will have to check the cameras now coz you will have alot of reporting to do to the right governmental department who i will be contacting with all these reviews. Also, I will be raising my concern to this concerned governmentsl department - to check the relevant qualification and visa status of these employees who don’t know anything about their menu items and iver charging customer. When i asked the staff for their names, they hesitated and later provided fake name- Harry. They pointed to the receipt attached here saying that is my name as i am operating till. This business is a scam. Owner’s apology, receipt and camera recording is proof that it is not a fake complaint. Well, read other similar reviews by...
Read moreI recently attended the Bollywood Night at Coco Melbourne after seeing their promotional ads and marketing, which made the event seem exciting and well-organised. The entry tickets were advertised at $26, so my friend and I bought ours in advance, genuinely looking forward to a fun night out. However, the experience was a total letdown from the moment we arrived. When we entered, no one even bothered to check our tickets. People were just casually walking in without showing anything. It felt completely disorganised and made me question why we even paid for tickets in the first place. Honestly, it felt like a scam they advertised ticketed entry, but clearly didn’t enforce it. The music inside was insanely loud and I’ve been to plenty of clubs and DJ nights, so I know what to expect. But this was on another level: not enjoyable, just overwhelming. To add to that, we ordered food which was not only below average in taste, but also mispriced. Menu prices didn’t match what we were actually charged items listed at $11 were charged at $13, and something listed at $18 was billed at $19. It wasn’t a huge difference, but it’s the principle. If you advertise a price, you should stick to it. In total, including the tickets, food, and a sisha, we ended up spending around $150. And honestly, it felt like money completely wasted. With that kind of money in Melbourne, you can easily enjoy a great night out with good food, music, and service places that actually care about your experience. This night at Coco was a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money there are far better...
Read moreThe food was cold, poorly prepared, and clearly defrosted in a microwave—definitely not what I expected. The presentation was also misleading; it didn’t match the photos or description on the menu, which felt like false advertising.
Service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, despite the restaurant not being busy. To make matters worse, the music was blaring so loudly that it was impossible to hear anything else, making the atmosphere uncomfortable.
Lastly, the drinks were nearly all ice with very little beverage, which was frustrating. Overall, I won't be returning or recommending this place to anyone. Very...
