Flames Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Melbourne

Ordered 2 chicken schnitzel burgers, the guy added chips to the order without asking if we wanted them. When I asked why he said 'it is better this way, don't worry'... I was a but annoyed but didn't say anything.

When we received the burgers, the schnitzel was one of those horrible processed heart shaped schnitzels you get from the supermarket (onlu half of one for each burger) that had been deep fried for WAY too long with almost no lettuce and a ridiculous amount of mayo, i assume this was an attempt to counteract the dryness from the overcooked chicken.

When we had finished (less than half of the meal each even though we were incredibly hungry) i thought I would tell the guy without being rude that the food was not up to scratch. He immediately got very defensive. I pointed to the schnitzel left on the plate and asked what it was inside. He told me, on front of other customers that it was 'very expensive breast meat'... I called him a liar and told him his attutude stank, maybe in a few more words haha

Avoid this place at all costs. The guy is a rip off merchant and a liar. There are far better options for takeaway almost anywhere else...

The worst customer service I have ever received. I ordered first and then when I was going to pay he said he needs to restart the system. I waited and another white customer came and he took his order and suddenly the system worked. Then I went again and needed to place my order which I needed was quarter chicken meal. He said chicken is over and the last chicken part he gave to the other guy. Then I said I'll buy fried chicken which was there in the display and he couldn't say no. I took it and another two white women came and ordered what I ordered earlier which he said it's over. He was waiting till I leave but I stayed and he took that order. I was really disappointed how he treated me. I didn't go there for free food. I paid and the only problem was my skin color. Can't believe this is still happening in Australia. The worst person ever. Worst charcoal chicken I’ve Been. Owner is:

Rude : no greetings unless you are a white guy, always rush order, can’t understand him so he take wrong order then charge you extra for what you did not ask. Always abusing his staff in front of customers.

Thief: add unwanted food to order due to bad communication then charge you. I asked for extra chips once, charged me extra which is fair but still receive similar amount of chips. Last but not least, I asked for leg part then get told I have to pay extra for it. Yea this is the kind of service you get there.

Dodgy: ordered chicken roll multiple times , couple of times he goes at the back and get some weird chicken piece which does not taste as it normally does. Maybe he’s trying to save on chicken ? Who knows 🤷‍♂️

Safe to say that I won’t be going there anymore. Thanks for treating me like that , I found a better option...
