Coffee Plus — Restaurant in Melbourne

I used to really like going to this cafe when the previous owner (John) was in charge. But now with the new owners who are inexperienced, disinterested and somewhat with an attitude, I have decided to go elsewhere. The last time I went to this place was enough to stop me from ever going back. To start with when we walked in we were not even greeted. And as we were on a time limit we were not able to sit around watching the world go round.

The tables had a sticky residue and still had the same plates that the last people had eaten off. We waited 25-30 minutes for our drinks to arrive and then as we were about to leave as we had an appointment they gave us a ham and cheese sandwich which was not what we ordered and that they were just starting to cook my pastie on the grill and we explained to them that we couldn't wait for it to be cooked as we were pushed for time.

But to the response of the new younger owner in his own words, he said:"Well, since you ordered it, really, you do have to pay for it". And we were charged an additional $4 for a meal that we did not even eat. I was outraged and so disappointed. John would never of done this to us and we would've been treated much better at much cleaner tables. What, a, shame! This used to be a lovely little cafe but is instead a place of arrogance and poor standards of cleanliness. Will...

Great coffee, cozy environment, most of all, kind staff members! Lately, I delivered some doughnuts to my daughter’s school for their early morning trip to Lorne. I accidentally left serviettes at home. I quickly went to Ivanhoe shopping Center to buy some but no shop was open before 7:00am except this Cafe. I stood in front of the shop door with some hesitation when I looked at the busy staff. Felt so desperate! One shop staff looked over all clients shoulders in front and noticed me and asked whether he can help me. Guess what! He immediately offered me 2 packs of serviettes at very low price $4.70! What a lifesaver! I also ordered a latte on my way back to school bus. It tasted particularly good! The coffee without sugar still tasted like honey! I was so touched by his reaching out to help me before I dare to ask! After you have read my review, your coffee from this shop should taste even better. Go Coffee...

Fantastic local spot with impeccable service and the BEST coffee you can find.

The coffee served here is clearly a labour of love as every coffee I've been served at this establishment has been as delicious and smooth as the very first that sucked me in.

The staff are very well liked by the local community and you can easily see why upon visiting and I have no doubt you'll be hooked on the first sip as well.

The food made in house is absolutely delicious, simple fare perfect for a light breakfast or lunch. Pictured is the house granola with apple and honey and it is a phenomenal way to start your morning.
