Cold Rock Ice Creamery Lilydale — Restaurant in Melbourne

Extremely rude "Karen" esk owner. I went in with my two children as we thought a cool icecream would be good on warm day. I had my small dog with us as we had been out for a walk- the owner then proceeded to give me grief about the fact I had a dog in the store, at my feet- I explained I just wanted to order,, pay and we would leave. Unfortunately Karen could not let this go and continued to give me grief. There are no signs saying I can't bring a dog In? However I am aware it is frowned upon bringing a dog into a food establishment to dine in, given I was just picking something up, I though common sense would prevail- Unfortunately this was not the case.

Never again Karen. Hope you learn some...

We order Cold Rock a lot and service is usually impeccable, however this time we ordered through uber eats and there was no option to not add mix in's. I don't usually get mix in's with a banana split so this was a pain within itself. Chose (and paid for) a mix in so that we could place the order and added in the notes to leave the chocolate chosen whole and not crush into the ice cream. Instead they just didn't add the mix in that we had paid for. My partner also ordered whipped cream with his sundae and did not receive this. Very disappointing service to pay for things and not...

It was the Thursday coming out of lockdown.

The girls working were standing around talking not even acknowledging our presence. We went up to the ice-cream bench seeing if they would communicate with us but they didn't?

I understand we had just come out of lockdown but the store was practically empty, it would have taken 5-10 mins of their shift serving a customer, which is technically their job.

Will come back for the yummy...
