Edited: went recently and had this combo of fried chicken, tteokboki and soda drink. It was normally $50 but for members it’s $45. I have to say I am very impressed, it was such a good value. Fried chicken boneless or not was perfect. Had my favourite soy garlic sauce on the side and also tried spicy mayo which was ok. Ordered rice on the side and pickled radish. The corn cheese that came with chicken was so so, I could do without it or replaced by coleslaw or something. I am still surprised they were listening to my feedbacks throughout the years and improving but still no kimchi!! Tteokboki actually came on pot with stove, I was sooo impressed and didn’t expect it. The soda drink was way too sweet and I think this combo is for 3 people, because we couldn’t finish the foods, let alone the drink. And their rice portion was massive I couldn’t finish it either. For $45 with some leftover is such a great value.
The place has a nice, fun vibe. It needs Korean music though! Had their boneless fried chicken which was nice, soy garlic sauce was beautiful. Had their spicy beef bulgogi which was nice. What is missing is Kimchi! Had kimchi pancake which was ok. I was so excited to see hotteok on the menu, I thought I better give it a go. I never had proper hotteok, only made at home of packet ones. It was thicker than I thought, just need more filling! Needs a lot more that cinnamon sugar! But overall very happy to have Korean fried chicken at this side of the suburbs.
Edited: Went again and this time they play Korean songs! How happy I was to see this improvement! Also tried their deep fried prawn mandu and it was so nice! It was filled densely with prawns and yummy.

This time tried potato heaven and it was very heavy. Definitely way too much for 2 people, I would say would be good for 3-4 people to share. The sauce is what makes this amazing, plus the stringy cheese of course. Also tried japchae mandu. It was ok, again the sweet sauce is what makes it ok. I would much rather the prawn mandu next time. Their soda drinks are very nice.

Tried their gochujang grilled chicken noodle and it was amazing! Love the sauce, and that they put some rice cakes and noodles which went well with the sauce. Chicken pieces weren’t bad too. I just wished there were more noodles, maybe next time will order the large one. Dumplings were nice and crispy. Also tried the korean donuts and it was very nice and filling although it came only 4 small pieces. I usually dont like red bean but i love this one, it was...
Read moreI hate giving poor reviews, but sometimes it's necessary. Visited last night, the venue was so cold, every patron had their outdoor coats on. The waitress was lovely. Our food unfortunately was not. I had a half chicken fried. The smallest drumstick I've ever seen. And the other pieces were so tiny, unrecognizable, I couldn't locate any thigh. The meat was really dry, thank goodness for the dipping sauce. Much better fried chicken can be found in the fridge section of Coles and Woolies. My wife had the sweet chilli boneless pieces and she thought it was terrific. We waited 15 mins for our sides. The waitress forgot them, it took another 10 mins for them to arrive. The cheese and corn was bland and totally forgettable the pickled radish was lovely, wish I had it with my chicken.
Update, thanks for your response, you have many good reviews, perhaps this was a bad night, I understand. I should speak up but like many people, I don't want to...
Read moreSince they’ve opened, we’ve ordered from the new Gami in Lilydale 5 times now, including opening night, and every single time the food has been perfect. 10/10 every time, and that’s not an easy score to get. It’s seriously so yummy and the menu covers all of our cravings. The Parma’s are incredible (and the chips... omg! we haven’t had chips like that in a decade! How do you guys cook them?!). The delivery was fast and the food has been fresh every time. It’s all cooked properly and deliciously. Honestly, thank you guys. It’s been really hard finding somewhere that’s worth the money for us. We’re shocked and so grateful. Me, my mum and my partner will continue to order often and be local usuals....
