Crispy Catch Sunbury Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

We visited Sunbury Catch Fish & Chips for the first time after our normal place closed down. First off the place was extremely clean and the prices were very good. The staff were extremely friendly as well. The next part of my story however was astounding.

Our order was messed up which we didn't realise until we got home. I rang the business to tell them what was wrong and they said that they will correct the order and deliver it to my address. Keep in mind that traffic in Sunbury at the moment is horrendous. What more could you ask for? We all know mistakes happen but it's how the mistake is fixed that matters most and this delivery service was an outstanding fix. It arrived to our place within 15 minutes which indicates it occured straight away.

Onto the quality of the food. The chips were fantastic, the amount of salt was perfect. The fish while not large in size was a good portion and tasted brilliant. If I were to criticise anything it would be that one of the potato cakes was quite thin in spots and got a little burnt due to the thinness.

Having said all that, I believe we've found our new fish...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sunbury Catch and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by the owner, who was incredibly nice and friendly. It's always refreshing to see such warm customer service, which immediately made me feel welcome.

The food itself was exceptional. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy and golden on the outside, while the inside remained tender and flaky. The chips were equally impressive, with a nice crunch on the outside and soft, fluffy insides. It’s clear that they use fresh ingredients, and the portions were generous, making it well worth the price.

The shop has a cozy, laid-back vibe, which made it a perfect spot to enjoy a casual meal. It felt like a place where you could relax and take your time, enjoying both the food and the atmosphere.

Overall, I highly recommend Sunbury catch if you're in the mood for some delicious fish and chips. The combination of excellent food, great value, and friendly service will definitely have me...

I don’t often write reviews because most places are pretty average at most, in saying that this place is by far one of my favourite fish and chips shops I’ve even been and I’ve been to a lot of them including the apparent best one in Victoria
