Seriously I'm generally a kind person. I have worked in genuine, authentic Italian restaurants. Yes the restaurant looks great , paintings , ambience ok.But clearly it's not italians cooking this Italian food. They even asked us if we wanted chilli oil on the side.Italians dont offer that ever. The veal skinny ,bland lacked any moisture , didnt taste any prociutto .The wine was watery and vingery. The sauce on my cannelloni was very thick in texture. If this chef has genuine apprentice papers completed i would be surprised. I am honestly shocked at this rating of 4.8 .Clearly you have alot of friends writing them.I would employ an Italian chef to save your restaurant.
In response to your lying reaction to my google review.I did not ask even once to communicate to any staff member upon my visit to your restaurant. I don't know who owns your restaurant nor do I care.I was fully respectful through out my dinner to all your staff.I even tipped the waitress . This was by no means a person attack simply an honest observation from my many years of experience working in an Italian restaurant. You however have attack me without foundation. Most probably you mistook me for one of your other dissatisfied customers...

There’s been a nice modernisation undertaken of the dining space (floors done, artistic painted imagery added to walls and more), overall it’s a very cosy and comforting area, and the service quality we experienced was also high, with the waiter very attentive and polite, always looking to replace/top up our water.
We had three pizzas (margherita, capricciosa and bellisimo which was the vegetarian pizza option). All pizzas were very tasty with high quality and fresh ingredients and were characterised by a thin base which made each slice feel incredibly light to eat. It’s definitely the sort of pizza you can keep eating slice after slice (irrespective of the amount you’ve eaten) which is always my personal barometer test for quality pizza.
On first impression this is a very good quality local Italian restaurant, and I’m looking forward to returning to try some of their non-pizza dishes.
I can say with confidence that Da Belcibo is a strong and reliable pizza option to have back in Ashwood, with a solid dining experience to be had if that’s your preference. Recommended...

The Valentino pizza ($28) was a standout - wood fired, perfectly crisp around the edges, and topped generously. You can really taste the difference when a pizza’s made fresh, and this one hit all the right notes.
The Chicken Funghi ($30) came with a rich, creamy mushroom sauce that was absolutely packed with flavour. The chicken was tender and the sauce was comforting without feeling too heavy - perfect for a cosy dinner.
We added a Rocket salad ($14) to lighten things up, which was fresh and paired nicely with the mains.
To drink, we had a glass of Rosé ($13) and a bottle of Aranciata ($6) - a simple but refreshing way to round out the meal.
Da Belcibo is one of those neighbourhood gems that surprises you - genuine food, friendly service, and a menu that...
