Disappointing First Experience – Poor Customer Service

I visited this place today for the first time after reading some good reviews and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Dan’s Burger with chips and clearly informed the cashier that I did not want anything spicy.

The food was prepared quickly, but the service setup was a bit lacking – food was handed out one by one, without a plate or even a napkin.

Unfortunately, the burger I received was spicy. When I brought this up to the staff member her response was unprofessional – she was loud, dismissive, and quite rude.

I asked her to refund as its ruined my day and the funny thing she was scremkng and saying it will be refunded in my acct 2 to 3 bussines day? I said which acct? 🤔as I paid cash.

In my opinion, even if you serve the best burger or coffee, poor customer service ruins the entire experience. I was very disappointed, especially as a first-time customer, and I would not recommend this burger...

Finally checked out Dans Deli today. I Wanted the famous pastrami sandwich however they were sold out which was disappointing. However because it's homemade they can't just restock it quickly which I completely understand. Instead i Had the DFC, and it was the BEST fried chicken. I've had alot of fried chicken and this was incredible. So glad I got it. Got an iced latte as it was warm today and it was delish My only constructive criticism would be the wait time. The lovely guy on the counter seemed swamped. Maybe get an extra person to do the drinks and one person for orders. So glad toorak village finally has something decent, it's long over due. The barista girl with the glases is so rude unprofessional and disrespectful , most pathetic experience and when the other guy came from the kitchen who works there she started to behave like nothing happend. Very disappointed. And you mentioned about the carpark that park your car in correct zone , so for your information there’s no parking infront of your resturaunt and you mentioned in notes as well that no parking available around ?? And I haven’t said anything to her i traveled 13 minutes i waited for 11 minutes and after waiting for such a time only for a coffee i asked her how much time for the order and she misbehaved ?
