Not fully fenced. While this park is dog friendly, and has a fence around most of the perimeter, there are no closeable gates and multiple places a dog can escape. The perimeter fence is raised slightly from the ground, leaving a gap of 10-20 cm in places, which means if you have a small dog or a puppy it's likely they'd be able to squeeze through. There's also multiple sections of the fence which have holes big enough for larger dogs to escape. There are no closeable gates, just gaps in the fence for people to walk in and out - I counted three, including a large open gate wide enough for a car. So while this is a nice park, well maintained and with a fence around the edge, you still need to be vigilant when walking dogs here as there's multiple places they could escape.

Place is quite big with long running tracks But the grass area had sooo many mosquitoes that u cant even sit for 5 minutes . Cover your body properly if u have picnic plans Place has benches big enough for family lunch or picnic If you plan to play games there is very big playground as well and many interesting swings for kids Also some exercise points are available if u like to workout in open place Recommended!!

A great cricket ground with really scenic views by the Yarra. Really good drainage even after a lot of rain. The biggest issue was parking as no signs exist to direct traffic to the car park. Car park is at top of the hill and this is challenge for young cricketers if they want to carry their gear.

My dog loves it here, it also is a great sporting ground for local clubs, has a walking track off it that leads towards the Yarra River bike and walking track and Como Park North.

*Only negative thing to be warned is - once in about 2014/2015 I met this older absolutely creepy man who had 2 grey toy poodles that seemed to be drugged lurking around the car park, claiming to be the Myer owners’ personal chauffeur, and telling people his wife had died and it was her anniversary. My dog used to growl in an unexpected way in their presence. He turned out to be a real stalker and possibly dangerous. He drove a nice-looking black chauffeur’s car, and kept trying to approach me in the carpark.

When I called the police he scurried away faster than lighting. I also had to call crime stoppers and organise a profile for him. You wouldn’t expect this so much as it looks so nice here, but it still pays to be very careful. I didn’t come here for about a year after that, but since have never...

It's a nice park but a but sketchy to let the dogs off leash at as it's right next to busy Alexandra Parade. I went here every day with my pup for a year and most of the people who go there with their dogs are extremely snooty. If you're dog isn't a tiny little fluffy things, expect some sort of verbal altercation to happen...

Oh and there has also been DOG DEATHS due to aggressive animals, our big scary great dane PUPPY and has been viciously attacked here multiple times. Go to the park across the road, it's much safer and a...
