Dan Dans Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Today I bought a latte for 4.70.

I gave 50dollar 70 cents .

She return back 45.30 cents When I asked I should receive 46

She said no you just gave me 50 dollar and owner next to her came and also said she is right,you gave her 50.

I said I’m Not lying ,there is a customer behind me they noticed then gave me one dollar and didn’t say sorry.I gave the 30 cents.

They think I am lying. They should treat the guest properly,if they make mistake it’s ok,should say sorrry and give the money back.

I use to buy the coffee regularly there at their coffee shop.

Any way I’m not going...

Regular for coffee after shopping. Today I bought toast for breakfast and questioned was $4.50 correct. The guy serving me checked and said it was incorrect. The correct price was $4.90 for a single slice of bread with vegemite. I questioned the guy again if a single slice of bread was really $4.90 and he assured me it was. Around 18 slices of bread in a loaf means they are charging almost $90 for a $4 loaf of bread. Not sure the cost of living, as bad as it is, warrants an almost 2000% mark up. Not a bad return, which is something I won’t be doing....

We go to this cafe once a week and have been for a while now. Love the layout and displays of food. Staff are always friendly and courteous. Have been having soup of the day - delicious ! Place gets very busy so best to come well before midday to ensure a seat. Leaves the other cafe across from Dan Dan's for dead. Barrista made the best baby cino I have ever seen with marshmallows and hundreds & thousands. A...
