I wish that my food looked like the pictures online. I used to come as a regular but now I squint at the prospect of paying 25$ for a bowl of flavourless breakfast, honestly I couldn’t find the ingredients in my meal it was used so microscopically as a faint garnish (I have come back not once but many times trying to find something redemptive). It’s painful to know with the huge price hikes in food and beverages you’d hope you get what you paid for. My pinch away from 30$ salmon bowl landed in the bin, barely salvageable - the compensation was a cookie. 30$ for a meal is an hourly wage. The new service was awful, it feels more like a desperate plea of how things once were but with no background information, another factor, decor changed for some particular reason there’s a lot of fake plants about, great for dust collection as counter productive air purifiers. Dang i don’t see the same staff anymore as they were actually so incredibly caring. Honestly it is so enraging that there’s so many of these pictures but literally looks like it was just a paid advertisement. Why isn’t there much emphasis on making what was there better?? Why is it worse? It wasn’t a once of… helluv sad man....

So clean beautiful Santorini style cafe. The staff are super friendly, the girl has made beautiful coffee and offered to make another if its not extra hot as requested omg who does that in Melbourne? Sooooo good and generous. I fell in love with the cafe and the people here. And wait!! Let me tell you about the food. Sooo good. Delicious and fresh and good ingredients, and wait let me also tell you about coffee.. wow I can run again back there now thinking about it. Sooo best. Went with my mom and we loved our quick coffee and almond croissant.. and I want to go there again daily if possible so badly😍😍 super clean, with sparkling water and indoor outdoor on street sitting.. quiet corner. Best! And delicious.. thanks to the girl not only with good skin but with good manners who was sooo nice.. 😊 u made our summer days even brighter with your generosity.. much love and good...

I have been to the new DRIP cafe twice now and the food has been amazing both times! Aesthetically pleasing AND tasty!!

As a vegan, it looks like there are only a couple of dishes I can have, however the team are very accommodating and can make adjustments to many meals to make them vegan friendly!

My favourite dish would have to be the VEGGIE PATCH BOWL. I removed the halloumi to make it vegan. It was sooooo delish, nourishing and flavoursome!!

The ACAI BOWL and CHIA BOWL are good if you’re looking for something sweet!

I also tried the SMASHED PEAS. I removed the bread and added some sides like mushroom, tomato and avocado. It was not only beautiful but tasted great!!

The smoothies are yummy too, and the coffee is great 👌🏼

Also pictured is the French Toast which one of my non-vegan...

Stopped by here before heading into Southland. Parking isn’t plentiful but found a spot. Place itself has seating out the front, inside and in the garden (which is dog friendly). Menu isn’t extensive but solid. The coffee is good. The food…. The chicken and waffles was tasty, a little spicy with sweetness of the maple syrup. Chicken was nice and crispy but more like chicken tenders then fried chicken - but stilll good combined with the waffles. My wife had the salmon and this is where it came undone. Her salmon was only partially cooked through, with the middle being raw - when we advised the wait staff all we got was a “oh well let the chef know”…. Unimpressed. Overall - it’s good, a little exxy but could be better.

Drip Cafe is indeed a small and cozy cafe, but that also does mean they can get overwhelmed by groups very quickly and run off their feet a little. Came here on a Sunday lunchtime, found the service to be quite self-helped, in that ordering a coffee is even through the phone and wasn’t offered when the waitress gave us physical menus. Alas, no big issue, we are all okay with QR codes now. We got the baked eggs and the eggs benny, and I found the baked eggs to have less flavours than many of its competitors. It had plenty of chorizo which was great but the herbs were just lacking for me. The eggs Benny was just your stock standard but nothing stood out in particular.
