Pizza as it should be: Magic Pizza and Pasta reminds me of pizza bars from the 70s and 80s. The friendly team provide hearty and delicious pizzas (I have yet to try the pasta) with wonderfully fresh ingredients. There is a wide choice of toppings and you can easily mix and match. Prices are reasonable and servings are generous. Delivery is available and they are affiliated with Menulog. Easy access from Chesterfield Road with limited shared parking. I don't give 5 star reviews lightly, and Magic Pizza and Pasta have earned every one of them.

Absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying a pizza with family and friends (even if you are a passionate fitness coach). These are freshly made, tasty toppings and magically delicious and we enjoy them for exactly that reason. In picture is a slice of "the lot" and a golden piece of garlic bread. We moved to the neighbourhood recently and love finding and supporting local gems like this:)

Spoke to the owner tonight. First time trying. We moved into the area about a year ago and we’ve been looking for a good local pizza joint. And I think we’ve found it. Solid solid pizza. Good crisp on the base. Great attachment on the pizza of the ingredients. And wasn’t soggy at all. Solid! We finally found it! And only 2 minutes from our new place

Tried for the first time and can’t say there’s anything Magic about their pizzas. Ordered a family half Pepperoni half Seafood. The Pepperoni was buried under a real mushy cheese topping and was flavorless with no Pepperoni taste we could discern. The seafood was really quite awful I’m sorry. The prawns were tiny little pink things that surely came from a can of tinned prawns, and the only noticeable other seafood one could pick out from, again, an overly mushy toppings was the anchovies. In fact, the pizza we received looks absolutely NOTHING like the photos I see on their Google maps page, which has full size prawns and other ingredients sitting atop loud and proud. Why the change?

There is nothing elegant about their pizza’s at all and they’re not anywhere in the same league as say, Teo’s in Highett, Fazio Hampton or numerous other bayside Pizza restaurants whom dish up fantastic Pizzas with traditional Napoli style light bases with crunchy & fluffy crusts, whilst letting the fresh ingredients stand out naked on top, as opposed to the unpleasant ‘noise’ that topped this mediocre Pizza base.

It’s such a pity, as the service I had was very friendly, enthusiastic and prompt which is why I can’t give a 1 star. I just can’t see myself going back until they start ‘heroing’ quality ingredients on top of a lighter, crispier pizza base. Quality, not quantity is...

I don’t know what has happened to this place since I last ordered in 2023, maybe a change of hands? But honestly, it was the worst pizza I have ever consumed in my life, extremely disappointed. I’ve ordered from here 2x before, both at the beginning of last year and my pizzas were amazing, so after craving some yumminess last night, I decided to order an old fave. 1x Vegetarian pizza, add pineapple, no olives, $2 extra for vegan cheese. First off, there was the tiniest sprinkling of vegan cheese (you’d get 3, maybe 4 shreds in one bite - if you were lucky) - I understand having to pay extra for vegan cheese, but boy, that left me pretty upset and I may as well just had gone with no cheese at all. The previous pizzas I had from here had an abundant amount of vegan cheese, so it was pretty shocking when I opened the box. And secondly, my previous ones had no spinach on them, however, this one did, and I really wish it didn’t as the spinach was bitter and only made the pizza worse. Not to mention, there was hardly any flavour. The only good thing was that even though I ordered via UberEats, it was still slightly warm and the pineapple was nice. Big miss and big...

Unfortunately for me the pizza place that I loved going or having it delivered had changed hands. The owner had finally sold it but I found out after when the pizza got delivered that it wasn't the usual driver delivering. The pizza was still good but it wasn't the same as I used to get it. It's funny but I thought lii try closer to where I live. There is a couple of places but I chose the one that is the closest to me and it was Magic Pizza and Pasta. And I got lucky that there pizza was very good. Since then I have ordered one every 7 - 10 day's and I'll be sticking with them. They don't have delivery that I know of and they are Richmond supporters so it's a win win for me. The other good indicator is that every time I go to pick up my pizza they are busy so I'll be getting my pizza from them until they decide to close which I hope it's never. And that way I'm supporting a...
