Ordered Pork Xiao Long Bao, Scallion Pancakes and Red Bean Fried Pancake
Xiao Long Bao was excellent - tasty and juicy. Resented a bit that the chilli oil was an extra cost and was given sweet chilli sauce as default. Not the case at other dumpling places in the area. Pisces Dumpling Restaurant is still the king of dumplings in the area.
The scallion pancakes were a bit denser than I’m used to. And likely needed just a bit more time draining the oil. The flavour was definitely there, but I missed the flaky, pull-apart texture of other spring onion/scallion pancakes I’ve had.
The red bean pancake was lovely flavour and the sweet balance I like. However the filling was perhaps just a bit too watery and made the pancake a little soggy, and lost its crispness.
I give this review in truth, not because it was bad food at all - it was great. But I am loving the availability of good Chinese cuisine in Frankston, and I think this place is LOADS better than most I’ve tried. Just a bit of feedback, if I was going to nit-pick...

Place wasn't super busy, however food took ages to come out, after asking what the wait was. We received cold Chicken drenched in oil, cold Wontons which were un-edible and had to push to get our rice.
Then advised that we were not allowed bowls so we had to mix the rice with the oil in the chicken (the only plate we were allowed) and tried to eat it.
The beef dumps came out as we were packing up to leave which were good, but by then we had enough and joined the line of disgruntled customers to pay and get the hell out of there. $60 we will never get back.
This place seems to prioritise Uber Eats orders and forgets about the poor folk sitting down, watching countless meals walk out the door.
Can of coke was cold,...
Read moreIt’s a nice place to eat asian food, and also it’s affordable as well. They have their own toilet even-though it share toilet for male and female. I don’t really mind because what often I found with restaurant size like this, they will let you go to shopping centre toilet, specially in the CBD Melbourne. Yes, this restaurant is not big, probably around 8-10 table of 4 chairs. I was shock they have Pho cos this is Vietnamese noodle. Because from the name, I can tell they are Chinese restaurant. They also provide hot tea in thermos like Vietnamese restaurant. Not many spot for parking around the restaurant, which alway full. But you can get the cheap one by drive in to Brayside SC, $2...
