An absolute gem in Springvale. This was my first time trying laotian food and it was amazing. I ordered one beef larb (cooked) with mild level spicy and a small portion of sticky rice which was really good. Somvang was really friendly, explained to me many things about laotian food and also let me try the lao sausage, which was really good by the way. Another great point of this restaurant is that it accepts payments on card and pay id so if you don’t have cash you can rest assured and enjoy your meal peacefully. Certainly a place to return when in Springvale

Found this gem that serves authentic Lao food. We ordered khao piek sen (homemade noodle soup), grilled ox tongue, lao style papaya salad and glutinous rice balls filled with a savoury meat. Each plate was fresh and full of flavour. The host was lovely and made us feel at home! This place is mum approved, she absolutely loved it! The chilli oil and fried garlic is made in house and paired so well with the noodle soup! This restaurant is a must try if you are looking for delicious authentic Lao food!

Food was absolutely delish and the aunty was super nice. First time trying Lao khao piak sen and I’ll have to some back for it again and the chilli oil is super spicy which is absolutely what you want. Also tried the Lao sai oua which was a lil different from Chiangmai style sai oua, less herby and more fatty which I kinda preferred and worth a try. Will be back to try more dishes and would recommend for those wanting to try Laos food.
