Tonight was the second time dining at this restaurant and was totally disappointed. I have dined at this restaurant one previous time with a Thai friend visiting from Bangkok. The first time I would have given it 5 stars, we came back for a particular dish of barbecue pork which we felt was possibly the best dish we had on that occasion . We ordered the exact meal we shared last time two weeks ago. We complained the pork was very dry, the owner actually came to the table and we agreed for her to taste the dish. She agreed it was dry but refused to recook us another because we’d already consumed some. As I paid the bill not only were we’re not offered any discount given our dissatisfaction we actually paid over $30 more this time for the exact meal we had two weeks ago, it seems they make up the prices on the spot. Don’t waste your time and money trying this restaurant, perhaps the worst Thai food I’ve had in Melbourne. Even in Springvale there are many much better options. Definitely will never visit this...
Read moreHave been going here for years since I met my Thai partner as the food was good. My partner always questioned coming back here as we have seen a few cockroaches there before but i still like to give people a chance, but today I was very disappointed as when we got the dishes we always get we found the salad on the spring roll dish to be old and brown ,which left brown juices on the plate and the pork to be old and off in the pork rolls. Which then made me think what about the other dishes. Well the pork was not fresh in the other dishes and the veggies did not taste great either. At the same time as ordering our meal we ordered takeaway for the next day. My girlfriend told the the lady before we left (in Thai) that there was issue with the food being off as we left it on the table and the lady said that's impossible without even apologies. We still paid for it but left hungry. So went and got pork rolls. We won't be...
Read moreWent to this place for lunch with the MBH crew. First time here. The place is a typical take away shop look nothing fancy.
We ordered the “Tom Yum Pork Soup”, as you can see from the pictures, it looks nothing like Tom Yum! Where was the chilli🌶!? So apprently it was a different type of Tom Yum - okay it was something new, unexpected🤔.
Other dishes we ordered was the Pad Thai Seafood, Khao Ka Prow Crispy Pork (wasn’t crispy at all), Khao Klook Kra-Pi and a Khao Pad. These dishes were packed with flavour, you could taste the wok heat and spices with your nose👌. Although ultimately it was an average experience, you can still enjoy a...
