El Jannah Chicken Craigieburn — Restaurant in Melbourne

Unfortunately this El Jannah is a real let down to the great other ones around Melbourne. The staff in particular are what earned this review, otherwise would have just accepted an average meal and moved on. My wife, who happened to have already bought churros from San churro, was standing next to me as we were waiting for our meals. The girls behind the food cooking area were all making direct eye contact towards us, talking under their breath and then laughing amongst each other. At first I didn't think anything of it. But they couldn't help themselves to make their voices louder as they continued to talk to each other I overheard them make a few comments towards her, but at each other, saying things like "bro we make churros here", and "thats actually a laugh" and just continued to make it a joke amongst each other while at least 4 of them kept looking over at us and then talking back at each other. Each one of them actually stopping their work to go out of their way to look at us. They couldnt have been more obvious that they were talking about us and personally I don't actually know why that would be a topic that requires talking about your customers behind their backs whilst looking at them.

Your staff need to worry more about their actual quality of food their serving rather than joking about the customers that are keeping their immature selves in a job they're likely...

El Jannah Craigieburn has quickly become my absolute favourite spot to eat! From the moment you walk in, the team make you feel genuinely welcome, and the service is always fast, friendly, and professional. The staff clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in every little detail.

The food is nothing short of amazing — the charcoal chicken is perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavour, and the famous garlic sauce is absolutely addictive. The rolls are packed generously, the coleslaw is fresh and creamy, and every bite feels like comfort food at its best.

What really stood out to me recently was a lovely touch from the staff — a young lady was offering profiteroles, and they were incredible! It’s small gestures like that which make the whole experience feel special and show just how much effort this team puts into making customers happy.

The restaurant itself is spotless, well-organised, and even during busy times, everything runs smoothly. You can tell the manager and staff here genuinely care about both the food and the people they serve.

I can’t recommend El Jannah Craigieburn highly enough. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, dining in with family, or lucky enough to be surprised with a profiterole, you’ll always leave satisfied. Huge credit to the manager and team for creating such a consistently...

I had such an amazing experience at El Jannah Craigieburn Central! The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavour, but what really made my visit stand out was the incredible service.

One employee in particular truly made the difference – cloudia i think her name was and had the cutest smile on her face. From the moment I walked in, she was so polite, kind, sweet, and helpful throughout my whole experience. I even asked for her name because her customer service was that memorable. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and it honestly made me want to come back again.

Huge thanks to Claudia and the team at El Jannah Craigieburn Central – because of the great food and amazing service, especially Claudia’s, I’ll definitely be returning!

Also huge shout out to zain for doing tables so quick haha. cleaned tables so fast and they were spotless. he didn’t let a single table stay dirty for less then a minute and the cleanliness made the restaurant look so much cleaner and comfortable it felt like home. he also made my order so fast and was just a fun vibe to be around
