Empire Pizza House — Restaurant in Melbourne

The staff create a jovial mood when walking into collect pizza or other orders. Small but clean shop, where the staff balance the spirit of Aussie larrikin, with polite attitudinal courtesy. Toppings are fresh but not overdone, nor skimped, and cheese is not shovelled on pizzas as is done with other places.

For a classic American style pizza, I'd recommend the "Pepperoni pie" otherwise, the the Americana is great. Sits somewhere in the middle of old school traditional Aussie pizza, and old world European, but mixed with another style that is not entirely familiar.

Best part is they are open from 3pm, and seem to be modernising, like a few other shops around. 3pm is convenient for many reasons; the school run collection, tradie knock off time, etc. Glad to see they are not vigilantly hard and fast about being open from only 5pm onwards. Quality food, pizza and service...

Got 3 pizzas from this place and the pizza was just warm not even hot. The person who took the order didn't understand and said she wasn't from this area so she had no clue at all. The 3 pizzas we got as 2 small and 1 large but the large is a MEDIUM SIZE pizza and the family pizza will be their Large pizza. The prices are so ridiculous and for what you get is just a complete joke. Wouldn't go back thier what so ever. Look some where else instead and for better prices and better...

This is the best pizza place in reservoir, and arguably the northern suburbs. Apart from the pizza itself being really delicious, the customer service from the girls over the phone and in store is unreal - they are always smiling, always so positive, and genuinely interested / will make time to connect and have a conversation even when they are flat out which is all the time. If you haven’t been to empire, do it - trust you me you won’t want to go...
