My family and I had a spectacular evening at La Sirène. Food was excellent and beer selection was vast, varied and eclectic (in the best way).
The atmosphere and the lovely staff made it such a friendly and inviting environment, but unfortunately for them we may have accidentally been their worst patrons of the evening. We knocked over a drink, broke a bowl, and forgot to tell them about a nut allergy before ordering a cheese board (completely our fault, the nut was clearly written in the menu, we just didn’t read it properly).
After we let inquired about the nuts and let them know about the allergy they went out of their way and gave my sister a seperate hummus and salami.
They cleaned up our broken bowl, told us not to worry about it and overall provided a fantastic level of service the whole evening.
Got some nice beers to take home as well, we will definitely be back, so great to be able to support our local breweries. So sorry for all the...

The place started closing up at 5:15 so staff mentioned I could get some take away cans instead because they were cleaning up the bar and the taps were closed. Owner/Manager walks out to our group and rudely comments "you can't drink that here mate.. I'm closing up, I need to go see my kids.."

Their wild fermented and barrel aged beers are already well known for their quality and getting to taste quite a few was a very nice Sunday afternoon treat. A good wine list and some seriously yummy cocktails top off the drinks list. Didn't get to the non-alc list, I'll have a look next time. Looking forward to visiting in the new year! Merry Christmas and Happy New...
