I recently visited this coffee shop, which used to be a delightful spot for authentic Portuguese treats like pastel de nata and well-brewed coffee. Unfortunately, my experience today was far from the quality I remember.

Upon entering, I was greeted with a lackluster atmosphere and disinterested service. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, making me feel like an afterthought rather than a valued customer.

As for the coffee, it was poorly brewed—weak and lacking flavor, far from the rich taste I anticipated. The pastel de nata was equally disappointing; it was stale and lacked the flaky texture and sweetness that should define this beloved pastry.

I had come hoping to enjoy a taste of Portugal, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. It’s disheartening to see a place that once had so much potential fall short. I won’t be returning...

Euro Bakery is an absolute standout in Hallam, and I have been visiting them for up to 15 years and only now get the opportunity to provide a glowing review.

You won't believe the mouthwatering Portuguese tarts that I purchase a dozen of every time I drop past; they are truly amazing. The freshly made sandwiches and scrumptious pastries they offer are exceptional. And let's not forget about their top-notch pies! My husband bought himself a pie here yesterday Monday 26 May. I asked him to buy me a Roast Beef sandwich. I was looking forward to it as we had not had Roast Beef for a long time. We went home I took out my sandwich, the bottom part of the sandwich was very dry. I was so disappointed I have no idea what the meat was. It looked like Corn Beef. But it was NOT Roast Beef, it was a processed meat. Looked like it came in a round loaf. Very disappointing. We will not be going there & paying for just processed meat.
