Very very very disappointed. I organised a cake over 2 weeks ago for a joint birthday today. I received a phone call that my order didn't get put through this morning and that I don't have a cake (we paid half of the cake aswell). I went into the store and asked to speak to the manager just to tell them my disappointment. The manager refused to come out and talk and the front girl issued me a refund. My family have been buying custom cakes from here and after this experience, we will never buy from this organisation again. If this was for one of our childrens birthday or a big birthday like 21st or 30th then I would've definitely been more angry then I was. Just very disappointed in the manager who didn't even come out and apologise for OUR inconvenience. Would HIGHLY NOT recommend again if you are buying a custom cake because on the day of the party you might receive a phone call that you won't have a cake from this shop. We had tears on our end. That certainly made the birthday celebration sour, literally!! I took the cake back and the manager questioned me on whether I purchased it from this store and what time I purchased it. She repeatedly told me that I didnât purchase it from her store, so I asked her if she would like to see the transaction record of my debit card which clearly shows the store location, date of transaction and her surname. She was not interested in looking at the transaction, put her head down, gave me a cash refund and stormed off back to her office. A simple apology would have been more than enough.    Read moreI was a customer who had left their wallet here and some guy found it and asked the people behind the counter if it was theirs which their reply was no, and they asked patrons as well who said no, so they proceeded to let this person take the wallet. When I noticed I didn't have my wallet I went back to ask, and they told me they had given it to some guy who was taking it to the information desk (which didn't happen). I came back asking more questions asked why they didn't hold on to the wallet for a little while and was told it's not their responsibility and no compassion either. I was very lucky that a shop owner at the barber shop had picked up my wallet and returned it to me while I was talking to security.
