First time eating here so I thought why not take my mum as well for Mother’s Day. First mistake was I should’ve listened to the bad reviews. as soon as we entered we were greeted with a female staff member that just had a blank face not even a hint of a smile not friendly at all and then she proceeded to seat us right next to the water station mind you there were tables as far as the eye could see so why seat us there of all places when there were so many more options and I made a booking for 12:00pm.To also seat us in a high traffic area where staff members were merely centimetres from touching us and just hanging around the general area making us feel quite uncomfortable was just simply a utter disgrace the only other place that we could have been seated that would have been worse would be next to the toilet. so then I proceeded to order the chicken buffalo burger which came with a hand full of chips all I could taste was the buffalo sauce and nothing else and that crumbed chicken fillet looked like it came straight from the freezer at Coles and I couldn’t even finish my burger which was a first for me that’s how utterly terrible it was and my mum had the MVP Parma which maybe had a spoon of sauce and loaded with cheese which she couldn’t even finish also , and don’t even get me started how long we waited for two glasses of Coke after we ordered and it wasn’t even that busy while we were waiting and all up I paid exactly $77.00 for this trash and being treated the way we were on Mothers Day of all days was just flat out disgusting and disrespectful you people should be ashamed of yourselves for giving us one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had and not a friendly atmosphere and the staff seemed to just do the absolute bare minimum any one thinking of going here just go to Ribs and Burgers instead way way better food, better value and way better service and the staff smile also if you think you’re serving up quality food and providing good service then you’re delusional simply...
Read moreWe have a 4 year old and a 3 year old, and anyone with small kids (especially two under schooling age) knows how hard it is to eat out and actually enjoy yourself. Not only are kids picky and kids meals can get so expensive, some venues aren't built for it. We don't want to bother other people. The music can be too loud, or it's too quiet and you stress about the kids being noisy. The list goes on.
When I was pregnant with my second I was told about the Monday and Tuesday kids special and I wanted my toddler to get some fun experiences before things closed in with the birth of her sibling. I was pretty nervous as due to having her during covid we just didn't really go out much.
We've been coming here on the semi regular ever since, more so when my second was big enough to handle the stimulation. We love it. The vibe is great and the food is delicious. There's other families around but there's couples and groups too. There's every type and they're all doing their jam thing. You can just disappear into the crowd. It's perfect.
The kids love the kids meal and the treat of ice cream, and at the end of the night if it's not raining we let them run off the sugar at the playground in front (not part of restaurant but close enough).
We often get Chris, who seems to look after the front area where families are often placed and where the booths and pay counter is. He is an absolute gem. He's always super friendly and helpful, no matter how busy or quiet it is, and he never bat's an eye at what's happening at the table. Even with a full house he's on top of orders, checking in after meals to see if we're good or need anything else, cleaning up empty plates to make space like he's got a magical sense for it. I really appreciate his demeanour.
It's hard to get this comfortable anywhere but...
Read moreI made a booking over the phone at 6pm to make a booking for 4 adults and a toddler. All was good, they said we would have to sit in the bar area but would give us a low table for my daughter. We get there at 7pm for our booking and to then be told that they can't find my booking (but they confirmed it on the phone and sent me a text). They take us to a table in the bar area and give us a really high table that only had 3 chairs and didn't get us another one. They sat the high chair at the end of the table but mind you that table is much higher than the high chair so how is my daughter expected to eat at that height? Let alone how is she supposed to see any of us at the table. We tried speaking with the staff to be told again that they are booked out.... so why book us in then? But then give us the high table with 3 chairs and sit my daughter in a high chair she can't eat from or see us from? Disappear without a 4th chair? They didn't want to accommodate for their stuff around, just expect us to deal with what they gave us but then sent us on our way instead becausethey didnt want to fix everything. With just an "oh...oh..sorry". NOT HAPPY! NOT GOOD ENOUGH! WILL NOT RETURN AGAIN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE ELSE. What a disappointment, POOR service, lack of CUSTOMER CARE. Don't have a table? Then DON'T book people in if you can't fit us in when we get...
