Used to be one of the best in Sunbury…but the chefs must have changed or the recipes. Had the Dave special, lamb korma and butter chicken with some schish kebab, literally had zero spice in it…Everything was tasteless, watered down or too much paste, butter chicken is so tomatoey and literally just sweet…spent $190 tonight to feed 5. I am editing my review as we were contacted by the owner and chef personally Had the food again tonight, got to meet the chef, you could tell he is very passionate about his work. The schish kebab had more spices and the dave special was more spicy, the butter chicken was a bit better but the lamb korma definitely had the most significant improvement, the korma was by far my favourite with the lamb being nicely cooked and not tough, much more taste and could really taste the improvement. Credit to the chef for the passion and improvement tonight, you definitely impressed us all with your dedication and care...
Read moreUpdated review - From 3 stars to 5. I have since dined in and had take away and have both times been very happy. The dine in service was amazing. The food quality is very good and probably the best tasting Indian I have ever enjoyed. Compliments to the chefs and staff. The wait time has improved and is reasonable time for take away. Thank you for listening to customer reviews and providing a nice experience .

Unfortunately the wait time was a bit disappointing they said 20-25, it ended up taking 40mins. (Especially annoying when you tee it up with ordering from a different place for someone else in the family.)
Not the first review I read about taking longer than advised, I would recommend, but prepare for longer wait if you are...
Read moreWe had plenty parking space on the street as we visited Flag of Indian around 9 p.m. The place is Pleasant, the interiors introduce you to bits Indian cultures. Atmosphere is great 👍. Service is good, the waitress was polite. We didn't like it when they placed cutlery on bare table, it was off-putting and felt unhygienic. We tried rasmalai, it had rose flavour and would definitely go back to this place for desserts. Chicken biryani was disappointing too much curry and the flavour of cardamom and saffron were over powering. If you are an Indian trying to eat something to remind you of your home land avoid ordering biryani. We had to search for rice in it. Chicken 65 was mediocre. Lemon and salt were on the dominant side but the serving size was good. Wasn't happy with the food, couldn't taste chicken in both the dishes the curry was way too...
