First of all, this place doesn't even deserve one star, if there was an option to rate zero stars or even less, I absolutely would, this was absolutely, unequivocally, without a doubt, one of the single worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my entire life.
So, last night myself and my partner stumbled across Ghazal lndian Buffet & Bar on Menulog, the prices looked more than reasonable, so we thought, why not?
Ordered a decent amount of food for what was just over $50, so far so good.
About an hour and a half later the food still hadn't arrived, it's now well and truly getting towards the end of the estimated delivery time on Menulog, so we give the restaurant a call, after a bit of back and forth she finally told us that the food had been dispatched and the driver was now about 5 minutes away.
About 10 minutes later the driver arrives, better late than never, at this point it's quite late in the evening and we just want to sit down and eat.
We open up our water to find that the Coke Zero we ordered had been replaced by a $0.65 bottle of off-brand cola you would buy from ALDI, and that someone in the delivery process had already helped themselves to our drink.
Along with this, the cold drink had been stored in the same bag as the hot food, which had now rendered it lukewarm at best, and the milk based lassie drink we ordered had been stored with the hot food and had now curdled.
We rang the restaurant to complain, The lady that answered the phone this time round was actually nice enough about it, she gave me her mobile number so that we could send photos through, to which I did, alongside a lengthy explanation explaining our various concerns, and the reply I got was "Sorry for that.
Contacted Menulog who to their credit were as helpful as they could be, the bloke we spoke to seemed just as concerned about the health aspects of this situation as we were, and not only offered us a full refund with a credit, but also insured us that Menulog would be investigating the restaurant further.
Absolutely unacceptable experience on...

Read moreI was invited here for a friends birthday celebration and was a bit concerned after reading all these negative reviews. However I needn't have worried as the venue was perfect for a celebration. The buffet was delicious, perhaps not the best I've ever had but definitely not 1 star worthy, I'd give it a 4 out of 5. Indian food is my favourite cuisine so I have had a lot and the flavours here were all spot on, but by being served in a buffet it just meant some things weren't as hot. My friend had booked the majority of the restaurant and it turned into a bit of a dance party by then end of the night using their impressive sound system, playing a stream of Indian/Bollywood hits. I can see how, for other customers that could be frustrating as I'd read in other reviews, but you'd have to be fairly sour to not enjoy people having a great time. I'd definitely recommend this place for a large family function or gathering as it is so much fun as you have full control over the playlist. As a regular dining guest I'd advise you check to see if there's a function on, and decide if you're okay with loud music and people dancing while you eat - maybe you could even join in!
Hopefully less negative and sour people start reviewing this restaurant as honestly my experience was fantastic and these negative reviews nearly made me...
