Graziers Grill House has potentially a good reputation. So, I organised a birthday party with family and friends on 13 December, 2019.
Our experience was extremely shocking. We ordered lots of food and drinks but the service was below standard. The lady manager on duty that day needs to learn customer service. Her attitude and behaviour was horrible.
We have never seen any staff or managers anywhere in a pub with poor customer service quality. When a order is, generally taken, you repeat the order as a courtesy. Especially, when a group of 10 diners. We asked, can you please repeat the order. She says ‘don’t you trust me’. That is not a reply you expect.
Secondly, one of the order ‘SEAFOOD GRILL’ was a cheat. The Hervey Bay scallops were just three shells with trimmed away scallops. I was shocked. I have a photo of the scallop. I showed the scallops and asked the chef, if this is how a Seafood Grill is served with scallops to customers, who pay $52. He tries to justify and convince me. I told the chef that Graziers Grill House was cheating their customers. I was totally disappointed.
I walked away back to our dining table. Sooner, we could here the conversation by the chef and his staff talking about lean and saving strategies. In fact, trimmed scallops were used for Seafood Paella and the balance for Seafood Grill. Shocking experience.
There was no apologies nor ready to accept the fact. Instead, the chef after awhile suggests to serve freshly cooked scallops. Really? after all that drama. I rejected the offer, as Graziers Grill House not only cheated me but God knows how many customers and for how long?
It really was a disappointing evening. No apologies at all while finalising the payment.
Being a special occasion - a birthday celebration, we had come to have a good time and not a bitter experience. I must say, the birthday person was so upset. I regret choosing to dine at Graziers Grill House.
Graziers management, please treat your customers with respect, be courteous, be honest in your menu and customer services.
Sorry, to disappoint the review readers but this was the real experience at Graziers Grill House on that day. It was...
Read moreOverall the food was heavily under seasoned. The Arancini Bolognese tasted like it came from a box had little bolognese filling inside and the sauce tasted more of salsa then Arrabbiata, the Calamari was far too large and little chewy but the sauce was nice, the spiced curry lamb filo was nice. For mains ordered black opal rump asked for med rare and got Medium, to be fair if your going to work in a place called Grillhouse i would hope the standards for steaks would be higher. The mash potato was smooth but zero seasoning, broccolini bland aswell, the pumpkin was nice and if the best part of the meal is the pumpkin thats a bit of a worry. The red wine jus was not bad, little sweet though, mushroom sauce needed a little more seasoning and prefer sliced mushrooms then diced & also had a side of mac n cheese which unfortunately tasted like it came from a box and was super dry. The wait staff were friendly except for one lady who rolled her eyes at us when we asked to add something onto our meal. The decor was fantastic love the simplicity. Overall for a $200 meal its not...
Read moreWe went to Graziers on a Saturday night and had an awesome dinner. As pensioners, we don't get out as often as we once did, but we gathered a few dollars together for a special occasion and chose Graziers because we have used the Bistro often and always wanted to take that extra step and have a more formal, read 'special', sit down dinner :) We were not disappointed. The service was top level and the food (bruschetta then scotch fillet and a parma, then chocolate and creme brulee) was special - all courses were beautifully presented and went down a treat. The atmosphere? Well, I guess we expected/hoped for a quieter, cosier table - but that's hard for the Grazier to do when they have multiple groups celebrating on a Saturday! But the fire was very nice on a cold evening :) And I was thrilled to see that there was a hatch to the kitchen ... when you have had a good meal, I think it is nice to be able to tell the kitchen that you enjoyed what they had created. They received the compliment with charming modesty! But, all up - well done Graziers - I look forward to the next...
