Stamford Inn — Restaurant in Melbourne

Experience over 3 visits at the sports bar has been increasingly worse each time. They advertise State of Origin at the sports bar that it'll be on and to come to the venue. However they don't care about the patronage.

For Game 1: The staff had to be repeatedly told that they had the wrong channel on and to change it. At the end of the game, literally as the final whistle was blown, they turned off the screen in the outdoor area.

For Game 2: Again the staff had to be told repeatedly to change the channel, they ended up doing so right when the players where running out of the tunnel. The pizza that was ordered was lack luster and a floppy soggy mess

For Game 3: This is the worst one yet. Upon arrival the outdoor area was locked even though inside was getting very busy with not much seating left. I asked the gentleman at the bar if the outside area was closed for tonight. He advised no but he will unlock it and no idea we would want to sit out there in the cold. I advised we've sat out there for the past 2 games and it was fine with the heaters plus inside was packed. He begrudgingly went and unlocked the doors but then came in and to another guest right next to me openly and loudly complained about how silly we are to want to sit outside. This was extremely rude and unprofessional and he seemed to be the manager as well which is worse.

As per the last 2 games we ordered our food and went to sit outside. Again the screen had the wrong channel on for the 3rd time in a row. The heaters were also not turned on. We and other guests sitting outside had to ask them to change the channel and turn the heaters on. Throughout the whole game numerous other guests and us asked the servers and numerous staff about turning the heaters on and they all said they would look into it. Unfortunately they did not turn on the heaters for the entire game and the outdoor area was packed with patrons. The waffle nacho fries we ordered were so soggy and stale they were unedible.

This was a terrible experience at a so called sports bar that doesn't even know the sport that they are advertising. We decide to come here to support the area and left thoroughly disappointed even after giving them 2 more chances!

I would strongly suggest not to attend this so called sports bar if you want to watch sports because they have no idea what they are doing and the customer service is deplorable.

They need to re train the staff in customer services and at least give them a heads up if there is such a big game on to at least put it on the screens well before kick...

NOT ACCEPTABLE

I cashed a Ticket for Just over $1,000/- at the cash dispenser I waited till the Dispenser stopped dispensing and collected the $50/- bills and the coins when I returned to another slot machine I thought it was a bit light and discovered that was only $500/- I immediately went to the cashier’s window and explained what had taken place

Shortly after the manager questioned me and took my Name and phone number and drivers license number details .I was informed that he would look into it and call me the next day Saturday 12/08/2023 as I had no response I went to the venue and spoke with another lady manager who advised me that the cash dispenser would be checked on Monday 14/08/2023 and that someone would call me At 7.00 I called the venue again as I had no response what so ever and the member of staff who answered the phone told me that all the managers had gone home and that he would leave a message for them to call me I now live in hope that a common courtesy would prevail I am not holding my breath anymore in fear of suffocating

Please wait for the next chapter in this saga it will get very interesting

The coffee from the machine is strong and aromatic, a perfect start to the night. The sports bar, located downstairs, is vibrant, spacious, and generous with its seating. The bar staff truly shine here; they take customer service seriously and their enthusiasm and energy are always appreciated. For my friends and me, this spot is incredibly convenient. It’s central to all of us, so we often meet up here to hang out. On Monday, we had an awesome gaming session. Features kept popping up, which kept the night dynamic and enthralling. With 84 EGM machines, we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to options. There’s a fantastic variety, from different manufacturers to various game types, themes, and volatility levels. We’re always tempted by the linked progressive jackpots displayed on the screen above, but we stay focused on the action on the main screen. Exploring these games and mingling with other players makes for a truly fun adventure. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this amazing venue!
