We were really looking forward to our Valentine’s Day dinner, but unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing.

My husband booked a table for 7:30 PM, and when we called ahead to say we were running a little late, we were told it was fine. However, when we arrived, we were informed that 7:30 PM was the last seating (which we hadn’t been made aware of) and were asked to wait. After 45 minutes, we found out that our table had been given away.

As tired new parents finally getting a rare night out, this was frustrating. When we were finally seated, we were placed at a large table meant for eight people, which made it difficult to have a comfortable or intimate dinner. It felt awkward, and we ultimately decided to leave.

The staff didn’t seem very apologetic, and when we raised our concerns, we were just told to wait again. Given the restaurant's great food reviews and higher prices, we expected a much better experience.

Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed everything, and we left feeling disappointed. Hopefully, this was just an off night, but we wouldn’t return based on this experience.

We've given one star as we got a seat to sit and wait in their...

We went out with friends, who, along with myself enjoyed our meals. My husband was very hungry, unfortunately they forgot his entree 😧 which came out after he asked about it, and we'd all finished ours. I have it on good authority the beef in plum sauce, and honey pepper chicken is excellent, I really enjoyed my vegetarian omelette, my husband however was disappointed with his Singapore noodles, saying they had no heat and lacked flavour. He loves things with heat. I tried them and thought they were lovely, I hate things with heat, it's all about perspective! Unfortunately the atmosphere that particular night was atrocious, as a table in the restaurant had a lady with the loudest 'cackling laugh' any of us had heard in our lives, which continued on the whole night, no-one at her table making any attempt to quiet her down. By the way other patrons at the restaurant were looking her way, I'd say it spoilt the night for many of us. I'm not sure if she was drunk, but perhaps Management could have had a word🤔 Anyway, the food was good, even if our eardrums hurt! We'll be back - in the hopes for a...

Ordered $130 worth of food from Peking Land Rowville at 5:10. Told it would be ready by 5:30. Picked it up right on time, got home at 5:40, started eating at 5:45.

Everything was cold. Not just a bit warm. Cold. The fried dim sims were soft and soggy. Everything else was sweaty, mushy, and tasted reheated. Not fresh at all.

Called them straight away. They told me it must have gone cold on the way home. I live 10 minutes away. Don’t insult me. I picked it up right on time. If your food can’t stay warm for 10 minutes, it shouldn’t be served in the first place.

Then they tried to tell me it was freshly cooked. You don’t cook a massive order like that in 15 minutes. It was obvious it had been sitting around and just microwaved before I got there.

And then the best part, they offered me 10% off next time. Like I’d actually come back after that. What a complete waste of $130.

This place has gone downhill fast since the new owners took over. It used to be decent. Now it’s just trash.

Don’t waste your time. Don’t waste your money....

Excellent courtesy and classy service, they hand out hot and cold towels, set napkins etc. We were opted if anyone wants a knife and fork and other nice gestures, everyone was well mannered. Very clean too. The menu is big and they are understanding if you take a while but stay on standby close to your table in case you decide soon. Price range varies a lot so its suitable for everyone I think and the portions are really big even on the appetizers, you can get takeaway boxes and they even do takeaway. Finally something thats a big deal for me, we ordered appetizers and unlike a lot of other places they got to work on it straight away while we decided on main dishes and got it out to us really quickly. Will come again and I saw a lot of other repeat customers too. I noticed one guy forgot his jumper last time he came and didnt even realize he had lost it there, the staff remembered his face and brought it out to him in a container, really impressed.

You can get some really amazing chinese food here! The prawn crackers they gave at the start was really really good. It’s one of the best ones I’ve had, really well fried, has great flavour despite being such a simple food. The mixed vegetables was really nice, steamed really well, nice gentle sauce, makes it really easy to wolf down the veggies. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious too. The chicken is really soft, sauce is just right, not overpowering. I really liked it a lot. The peking duck was good too. They come nicely wrapped up in the pancake with cucumber and sauce. It’s not super oily, and goes really well with the slightly sweet sauce. Overall this place has really great tasting food. The service here is fantastic as well, everyone is lovely and friendly. I highly recommend coming here to try some of their food!

Dined here on Easter Saturday at 6pm, half the restaurant was full at this time. I have to give praise first to the staff who were welcoming, professional and personable. We started with seafood lettuce cups which were an array of tasty morsels of seafood and plentiful. For the main we chose the half duck pancakes which was the highlight of the night and the best that I have had in years. The duck was sliced thickly which was juicy and had a crispy skin in a well made pancake with hoi sin sauce. Next was Seafood Royale Singaporean style which we found the sauce a touch sweet and the seafood slightly overcooked. The bottle of Chardonnay wine was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall we had a great experience for our first time here and will definitely be back for the duck and to try another dish. Thank you for a nice night.
