Tonight's experience at your Rowville establishment was appalling. We were seated in in the corner and told by the young waiter and i quote "Ill put you here so your high chair isn't in anyone's way". Great start to make us feel welcome. We then ordered and i highlighted the minestrone soup was for the infant and wanted it first. 20 minutes later and no waiters pass by to get us more drinks and no soup I went to the bar staff and asked to send over our waiter. He was confused. Another 10 minutes and still no staff approach us. Finally a young girl brings all our meals. My pizza, my husbands veal parma, the side salad and my sons soup. The bar man comes over an offers my husband a complimentary beer and i say to the young girl "would you like to feed my son so i can eat my dinner now seeings as it all came together?" She was bland and had no customer engagement. Not only was the service sub par tonight the food was also not worth the $76 we paid for 2 adults. The minestrone had a minute amount of veggies and no pasta and was like watered down napoli sauce and the olives in the Greek salad had gone bad. By the time i had fed my 1 year old, my pizza was cold. After paying I asked for the receipt and we notice we got charged for a salad that was meant to be part of the parmigiana "chips and salad" like the male waiter suggested. Didn't mention it to the bar/cashier man at that moment as my son was now grumpy and tired and a quick inexpensive Wednesday night dinner dragged on to be slow and over priced for the quality. I will not be returning to this store even though we are locals and i will let others know of our...

We were terribly disappointed at this place, my cousin went to another Porchetta and raved about it , so they convinced us to go to this one close by to us, well where do I start, The girl took my order a parma and asked , salad or CHIPS, I said CHIPS, my wife ordered princess chicken , she took the salad,my cousin ordered the porterhouse and his wife the rib eye, the girl was about to walk off , and my cousin realized she didn't ask , how they wanted the steak cooked , and then reminded her. These meals were not exactly cheap either ,so you would expect quality. They eventually came out , and i was so disappointed ,my chicken Parma , had no Ham on it and , they came with soggy FRENCH FRIES , ( HOW CHEAP AND UNPROFESSIONAL ) . My wife's came out , it was so small, wife her so called small salad , it was dry with no dressing. My cosin had the so called porterhouse , he said he didn't like it and his with the rib eye , said it was ok . we got the manager over and i told him about , why is there no ham in my Parma , I said every Parma Ive ordered had has ham in it ,where is it , otherwise its not a Parma he laughed , and i said these fries are disgusting to put on a plate , this isn't Mc Donald's., he thought I was joking , didn't apologize , or said sorry, he said he will speak to the manager , but he was supposed to be the manager and never came back, never came near us. The waitress also asked how was the meals , we complained and she thought we were joking as well too, with no sorry. I would not recommend this place to anyone , they have lost $ customers that will...

For Mother’s Day we had a booking for 4:30 in a booth it was going very well Service was great in the beginning and the booth was great. We ordered 2 starters and 3 mains plus drinks Once we got our mains we felt like a burden to be there the staff kept coming up clearing our plates and cups when they weren’t finished or still going This happened every 5ish minutes. Once we realised they wanted us to go we asked for a container the girl forgot because the table next to us started asking questions. 2 minutes later another girl ask to pull the blinds down right where I was sitting so I moved out of the booth for her to reach and get onto the booth while we were mid eating and conversation She was done and I was about to sit back down until the table next to asked for it to be pulled down lower so she had to do it again. By this point we were just getting annoyed mind you we were only there for 45 mins in total It was so rushed in the end honestly wasn’t a good dining experience. Should have just gotten take away and had it at home instead or gone somewhere else. I don’t know if it’s because the staff are young because the older staff were alot better but it’s only when the younger staff started interacting with us is when it got bad Mind you I had a pretty good experience here on my birthday in April so I’m hoping it was just because of Mother’s Day the service wasn’t the best. In the end we spent $160...

La Porchetta a classic restaurant been eating and dining since I was in primary school. Had a few birthdays there, an endless get together with friends, lunch and dinners with family and relatives. Had lunch at the Rowville La Porchetta and the spacious restaurant is so welcoming and bright, made me feel comfortable and looking forward to eat. The staff are super friendly and made sure to repeat back our orders, which I find great. Most of the food is great. I ordered the main Spaghetti Bologonese, which was served warm and really satisfied my craving, but the main size is good for two people, so for me next time I will order entree, but the leftover I had I had for dinner! The Arincini was so delicious and it was bedded in bolognese sauce, it was so mouth watering. When I sliced it open steam was coming out. Wedges with sour cream and sweet chili sauce instant classic, was gone before the rest of the food arrived. Aussie pizza has always been my go to when at La Porchetta because of the runny egg. I ordered expecting the eggs to be just on top and when I bite into, I was expecting to feel that semi-cooked cracked egg. Sadly, this Aussie Pizza didn’t have that feeling, the egg was overcooked, that I couldn’t taste it. Overall the experience was great and will probably go back for lunch again, since it’s close by.

Service was a five-star experience, but the food fell short. Our waiter, Kumar, was fantastic and genuinely made our evening. He was attentive, friendly, and truly elevated the dining experience, earning a bonus star for the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. I ordered the pescatore (seafood fettuccine), a dish I often get at Italian restaurants, but this one was underwhelming. The pasta was thin and lacked an al dente bite. It was also very dry, with not enough olive oil/sauce to properly coat it. It lacked flavour as well. The seafood was minimal and disappointing, seeming like the last of a marinara mix. I found a few small, dry mussels and a solid spiral seashell that could have broken a tooth. The only highlight were the few prawns, which were cooked very well. And gave plumpness and life to the dish. For the price paid, it was not up to par. While the complimentary chocolate mousse was a kind gesture, and helped fill me up, it had a powdery texture that made it passable. The pizza may be better, but based on this dish, there's a big gap in quality compared to other Italian restaurants in the area.

We don't come here enough but we really should! Our kids enjoy it here because they have the best nuggets and chips (in their words and they are PICKY). Very generous serve and comes with a juice and scoop of ice-cream where they can choose the flavour. There are also colouring pencil pots around you can ask for. This place knows how to keep kids happy! Also means, parents are happy and can enjoy their own meals 😁 I especially like their creamy chicken and mushroom fettucine (my picky little eater also eats some off my plate) and husband enjoys the pizza here. Good drink & dessert selection. Very friendly service and nothing is too much to ask. Perfect spot for our little family dinner to unwind.
