Had been going here for years, food is generally good but the atmosphere is uncomfortable to say the least. Owner is constantly hiring young staff to assist on busy nights and almost every time we visit someone new is being trained. That in itself is no problem at all, what does become a problem is orders are constantly misunderstood and instead of taking the time to educate the staff the owner becomes inpatient with them and berates them in front of everyone. I have seen first hand a mother walk in and tear shreds off the owner for how her son was treated and on another occasion i have witnessed him bearate a young boy taking a phone order infront of a full shop as he wasn't fully accustomed with the menu yet. Well on this particular occasion another young staff member has been hired and though the order was repeated multiple times and one of the full time staff was assisting the order was taken incorrectly. When i managed to stop the staff member with continuing further with the order, the owner jumped in and yelled at me proclaiming. "you don't tell her it's wrong, it's correct on the ticket you have a go at her" and pointed at the young worker. I was flabbergasted, immediately asked for a refund, gave the owner a full blast about how he speaks to his younger employees and told the young girl not to let him get to her as no doubt he would have a go at her when we left the shop and guess what? Walking back to the car that's exactly what he did.

Poor girl. If you are reading this young lady i am so very sorry for making your night difficult by pointing out how he acts and i really hope he didn't upset you too much after we left the shop the way he was speaking to you.

Avoid this business like the plague,everyone, plenty of other businesses that could use the money in these times and treat their workers...

This place has been a favorite local spot for years BUT unfortunately since changing hands this place has gone downhill fast both in quality and service. After returning home with the food we realised they had forgotten 2 peices of fish that we had paid for! To double check we looked at the menu to make sure it wasn't our fault. We had paid for them. Called them up, explained the situation to the girl on the phone and they told me to come down and they'd have it ready for me when I got there. When I went in and asked for my order I was asked to pay! I asked for the manager and he said it was my fault and I didn't put it on the order. I kindly explained that we had added it up and we did indeed pay for it. He refused to believe me and began berating me and calling me a liar in front of all their customers. Absolute horrible experience and they have lost a life long customer over a couple...

Was totally disappointed with the service here. Drove home to find that part of our order was forgotten. So called to say I wanted to come back to collect it. Asked nicely if I could please be refunded for the 3 dim sims or maybe $5 for petrol to have to come back (29 minute trip). When I got there was told that if I took the 3 dim sims I wouldn’t be refunded $5. It was one or the other. Couldn’t believe this as this was their fault and I was not compensated in any way for the inconvenience. Basically a ‘stuff you’ attitude. Then finally got home to eat my cold fish and chips 25 mins later to also find we paid for 3 potato cakes and only got one. Had a breakdown at this point. As a local business owner myself I honestly would’ve gone out of my way to make up for any error to a customer. Then they’d have me for life. But no. Not here. Not...
