Stumbled across this place again since it's makeover a few years ago. What was original an organic store is still that but more. Located centrally in Fairfield with great parking out the front (1 hour limit), this is a fabulous place to buy your organic product. At the rear of the store (as you can see from my photos) there are fresh fruit and veggies, dairy products, nuts and grains and so much more. The front of the store is a cafe which is fun and funky. Love the little stand for boomerang bags and reusable cups. This should be standard in all cafes these days. Two of us ordered brunch with my poached eggs and avocado with halloumi added on the side despite it not being on the menu (thank you for that little extra touch) and my friend had buckwheat pancakes that she said were delicious. Portion sizes generous. The menu is good, not overwhelming which is nice. Plus the specials board helps with what is available for the day. If you wanted a coffee on the go or perhaps something to soothe you sweet or savoury tooth - then there is a cabinet filled with delights. Staff were lovely, helpful and nothing as too much trouble. Never underestimate the value of having people who are happy to help you out, quick with service or even just a friendly smile. Kid friendly. Wheelchair friendly. Toilets at the...

I have been a customer here for years ( even previous when it had a different name - Organic Gertrude ) it has always remained cool. The store has owned the bohemian communal vibe of station st for years dating back to when this shopping strip was as dull as anything and organic produce was only just starting to take action, things are now changing, the idea of "organic" is booming and hip people are flocking, HAHA AND STILL , this is the only alternative joint on the street . I would test out other cafes nearby and get turned away from the trappy music they were playing, disrupting my sought after experience, instead i resort back to Harvest which i did today and was served with delightful, welcoming and a tranquil service, what more could i want .

I recommend the sesame seed sourdough, ive been purchasing this loaf for over 10 years and funny enough have travelled the world extensively in those years aswell, but when asked recently "what is one meal that I have a fond memory of ? ", it would be a toasted slice of Harvest sesame seed sourdough with a lathering of butter and Vegemite .Another great option that they have are juices, I am not positive if they still them, but a fantasic mix of ginger, carrot, cellery, orange and apple was always made and purchased . all in all . Thankyou...

Two young women serving. One in a red t-shirt with tattoos very friendly and welcoming and clearly understands customer service. Lovely bubbly young person. Ordered eggs and a coffee to have outside. Another young server must be the runner i guess, delivered the coffee. No sugar on the table so I stood up and went back inside to ask for sugar which is minor but annoying when you want to relax and it should be automatic to make sure the customer has what they may need. Then same runner delivered my eggs. No salt or pepper on the table and not offered. Again I had to get up, go inside and find salt and pepper. Eggs were great. Cafe was quiet only 2 customers so not providing sugars, salt or pepper to those outside did make my experience not relaxing as each time I had to get up I had to carry all my bags. Not major but the runner server needs some training and a bit of awareness of what people have with coffee and food. Otherwise nice place and kudos to the bubbly host server in the red t-shirt. I watched her be super welcoming and enthusiastic with other customers that came...

Service how it should be … it is the standout feature of this healthy option on Station St. As soon as you walk in, you are taken care of. Attentive service is what seems to attract a loyal following. Food was yum and it has a lovely vibe about it. I love that there are seating options from the front footpath all the way to the back behind the grocery and the fruit & veg section. It is deceivingly large. I haven’t been here in years but I will be coming more frequently after today’s experience.

Small but friendly place which has some organic grocery items to purchase, serves decent food. Had the chilli scramble, coffee and chai latte. The chilli scramble wasn't very spicy, but the eggs were cooked well, the pickle salad was a nice counterpoint. Menu isn't too extensive, but has sweet and savoury options.
