My partner and I have been loyal customers of Haysung for almost two years now, and it's safe to say they've become our absolute favourite spot for Korean fried chicken! Every single visit has been a testament to their unwavering commitment to quality and flavour. The food at Haysung is consistently outstanding. Their Korean fried chicken is always perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with incredible taste. We've tried various dishes on their menu, and each one has been a delicious hit. We ordered their Whole & Half Chicken 24P Bones in with Jalapeños, Creamy Onion & Spring Onion Mustard. This was worth it at $60 price point shared between 4 of us as the chicken pieces were decently sized. The Jalapeños flavour was the best with the Creamy onion a close second & the Spring Onion Mustard was very standard.

We also got Creamy Rose Tteokbokki & 2 Large Loaded fries. Jalapeño & Cheese & Bacon loaded flavours.

Creamy Rose Tteokbokki was very delicious and well worth its price point at $17.

Loaded fries were not worth the $13 price tag, as they were not very “loaded”and were quite disappointing.

Management is horrible as they were understaffed on a Friday night. Expecting 1 worker to take orders, prepare orders, run out orders is unacceptable and for the manager to come out and scold her in front of customers is disgusting & disrespectful behaviour.

As a customer I hope the issue is investigated further as an employee should never be spoken to in such a way in front of customers.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Haysung Boronia with the intent to support a local shop. Ordered their boneless chicken on red rice with slaw and corn salad and upgraded to a meal (drink + chips). It is spot on. Juicy on the inside and crunchy outside. It is reasonably priced and their chicken will give other chain Korean Fried Chicken shops a run for their money. Cannot go wrong with their spicy jalapeno dipping sauce.

Service was quick and FOH staff was kind and helpful. Self ordering tablet is also available in front of the counter.

Interior is modern and clean. Dining in gives one the bonus of viewing the Dandenong Ranges which is lovely during sunset.
