The worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

Booked for a table of 10 2 weeks in advance to celebrate my birthday. On arrival I was told people were still seated at my designated table and were only just receiving their food as they were running behind. I was told I’d have to wait. We were left standing outside in the cold with no resolution to the problem. After many discussions with the staff about how they were going to fix the problem they ended up seating us outside in the cold (we had a four month old baby with us!) on wobbly tables. They said they would come get us once the table inside was free. We asked for free drinks to to make up for their error to which we were given a free round which were promptly spilled all over the tables due to the tables tipping from being uneven. No one came out to clean the mess, we ended up doing it ourselves. A waitress actually walked past our table with spray and a cloth......to clean the table next to ours!! We sat there with no service from wait staff. I had to go in multiple times to ask for service. In the end we decided to order two drinks at a time as the service was non existent and at least this way when we finished one we wouldn’t have to sit for half an hour waiting for someone to remember us. The inside table was never offered to us. They had promptly filled it with new customers as soon as it had become available!! The food was nice and came out all at the same time but at this point you’d think we would be offered drinks etc....nope the wait staff dropped our food and ran. At the end of the night we paid separately and made sure we were not charged for the free drinks at the start of the night. As we were saying our goodbyes a member of staff came out and said there was one glass of wine that had not been paid for and we needed to pay before we left. This was the last straw - after our horrible experience you think they’d be able to let one glass of wine go. We argued our case and left without paying for the glass of wine.

Understaffed and overbooked restaurant (that were not adhering to COVID rules!) that had no customer service skills. What a miserable...

Ordered through UberEats and everything was awful. I watched the delivery driver wait at the store for over 20 minutes after the food was marked as ‘ready’. When it finally arrived, everything was bland and soggy:

Elotes - poor quality corn cob with tiny flavourless kernels. Smothered in sauce to disguise the fact the corn was dry and fibrous.

Beef taquitos - the shell was super soggy and fell apart when I picked it up. The filling was literally a chunk of dry beef with no other flavours added.

Chicken tacos - these were advertised as containing ‘southern style chicken tenders’ and in the photo it looked like you got a whole crispy tender in each taco. In reality I got a thin slice of soggy chicken schnitzel. Even with the buy one get one free deal these were a ripoff.

Pork tacos - the pork was dry, could not taste any of the advertised ‘orange infused flavour’. Came with one tiny square of canned pineapple.

I’d been avoiding this restaurant as I’d had a similarly bad experience at the Fitzroy store many years ago. I should have trusted my instincts, I’ll never...

Experience was not ideal we were rushed by staff to take our order, when we hadn't decided this occurred 5 time. We got our drinks and was ready to order. 20 mins later our mains arrived before our entrees, we sent them back as we werent ready, staff then came back another 3 times with meals and still no entrees. We finally got the entrees, 5 mins after entrees arrived mains arrived and we were told that the kitchen was busy so you have to have your mains. We then had to say we were not ready, they continued to send food out another 3 times. The kitchen were not happy with us as we didn't want everything together and there was no room on the table for a start. The wait staff did not know what to do, no manager around to refer to. We seem to have spent most of the evening sending meals back. We were finally ready and it was the wrong food we sent that back and finally got the right meals.
