My visit to heritage was such a treat. Not only the dishes looked pretty but everything was so deliciousš¤¤
We ordered ⢠Banana bread It was topped with some berries compote, coconut n passion fruit and just the right amount of mascarpone and pistachio to balance the sweetness. And donāt even let me start on how moist the actual banana bread was. It was my first time having a banana bread dish and this one definitely took it to the next level. Definitely recommend this dish šš½
⢠Smashed Avocado A classic dish well presented on the plate. All the ingredients in the dish was curated perfectly to go along each other.
⢠The wall This was like a super sized breakfast. The dish ad chorizo bacon poached eggs avocado and even mushrooms on ciabatta. Fully loaded with a lot of goodness.
ā¢Super pink superfood smoothie It comes with some really amazing ingredients and does justice being in the āsuperfood smoothieā categoryš„¤ā£ā£The smoothie however is very heavy..so if you are a light eater then would recommend getting a lighter breakfast. It was also loaded with coconut flakes so if you are looking for a smooth texture this isnāt the one for you. ā£ā£ My overall experience was definitely a 5/5. Would definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA lovely little cafe conveniently located a short walk from the station. We struggled deciding on what to order as everything sounded so delectable. Eventually we went for the ever classic smashed avocado with a side of salmon, coconut chia pudding and the smoked eggplant.
The smashed avo was a very generous serving with avocado piled high and flavour a plenty from the mint, dukkah and pesto on the plate. The cherry tomatoes provided beautiful bursts of sweetness too. The smoked eggplant dish comprised some classic middle eastern flavours and Iād thoroughly recommend if your feeling adventurous and up for something different.
We had the chia pudding as a shared third dessert dish and it was absolutely stunning. That fresh mango, the delicious co yo and coconut flakes all worked really well with the strawberries. In fact it was mums first chia pud experience and she was quite impressed (and this is from the woman who hates aƧai bowls and doesnāt understand the concept of vegan food). Vegans rejoice as this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIād spied this place a few days before on a visit through Camberwell and as brunch buddies, my kids and I decided to visit. (They are 20, 18 and 15 so not really kids). We sat outside in the autumnal sunshine and with a lovely light breeze had our order taken by the delightful Kim. My eldest daughter who is the queen of smashed avocado was rapt with the meal, especially the portion size. The kids ordered extra items on the side like bacon or another egg, at extra cost. My greens brekkie was fantastic. So tasty and normally donāt like the dukka but today it was delicious. Just the right amount. Iced chocolate, iced latte, hot chocolate and juice all in large sized glasses. $105 for brunch and although not cheap it was well worth it. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Stroller friendly. Good parking but you need to purchase a ticket. Caters for dietaries. Thanks Kim for being an awesome waitress. We...
