Coffee was okay.

The food was surprisingly slow, took around 25 minutes for eggs on toast, no extras. The plate was large but the bread was the smallest I have ever had for this type of meal, maybe 5cmx10cm, extremely difficult to cut through and just not enjoyable to eat.

Despite there being almost no other customers, most tables still had previous occupant's glasses etc.

The cutlery situation was poorly thought out and unhygienic. All knives, forks & spoons where in a vase on the table together, with no way of discerning which type one was without manually grabbing each and checking, this results in significant cross contamination and the fact that the server would not provide cutlery as per normal was not advised to the patron at any point.

Pricing for both food & drink was slightly above the areas average despite being such a tiny cramped venue with, in my opinion, lower...

Bad!! Never returning!!! Was a regular customer, that is until this particular experience. I ordered a chicken sandwich with no avocado, told the lady.. Strickly no avo!! I'm allergic. Waited for my sandwich to be toasted. I had a gut feeling to look in the sandwich, as they took a pre made sandwich into the kitchen, sure enough there was avo on the bread. They'd taken out most of the avocado. Seriously!! Then the audacity of the women in the kitchen to say, you should have told us you're allergic.. Umm really!.. Thought by saying STRICTLY NO avocado, was enough to make sure there's NO avocado. Then I heard a comment from the kitchen as I was leaving... "What ever!!" As if you're allergic! It's not personal when a customer says they can't eat something, but it becomes personal when you treat people like that., Never...

Excellent brunch spot! The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend trying their avocado toast and pancakes!. Cozy little cafe with a great vibe. The coffee is top-notch, and they have a good selection of vegetarian options. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch. Love coming here for brunch on the weekends. The eggs Benedict are fantastic, and they have a nice outdoor seating area. Can get busy, so be prepared to wait during peak times.
