New review Saturday 2/3/24, again, usually better than Mc Donald's but was atrocious this morning, went and ordered a Jacks Brekky roll and Turkish Roll in a medium meal. When I got there she rang up 2 Jacks brekky roll and had to explain the order again at the counter. Then had to wait in the parking lot. She came after a while and handed my order to another car waiting in the car park, then realised when it was handed back. She finally came to me and passed me my order but forgot the milkshake. Waited for another few minutes then she came out and said that the machine was not working. Changed to ice chocolate and had to wait another 5 minutes. About 20 minutes later, I finally got my order. Fast food???? Been in restaurants where the meal was out within 5 minutes. Got home and had some eggshell with my Turkish Roll.
Went through drive through at about 910am on Sunday. First car up. Placed my order then went to the window. I was told to park at the bridgestone car park to wait. Car 2 came up and was told the same. Then car 3 and car 4. Waited for about 5 minutes then the server came up and served car 2. Another 7 minutes later she came up and served car 3. Looks like there was an error. She went back in and a few minutes later came out to car 3 again and looks like the order was wrong again. She finally decided to come to me with the food rejected by car 3 to see if that way my order. I explained that I was first up and have not been served yet and also repeated my order to her again. She went back in and another 3 or 4 minutes later came out and served car 3 again then finally after about 20 to 25 minutes delivered my order to my car. At this stage car 4 decided to leave. (Hope they went in to get their order or their money back) For food safety, I asked her if my food is fresh from the kitchen as I would not want anything from the bags that were previously opened by car 3. She assured me thay it was from the kitchen. As I was leaving she came out to serve car 4, which have already left. Got home and the pancakes and turkish blat was soggy and the milkshake was almost liquid. That would suggest that my order have been sitting there for some time before they brought it out to me. Looks like she lied when she mentioned that my order just came out of the kitchen. And food safety seems dubious. Suggestion - if your staff have no idea how to manage multiple orders at the drive through, perhaps serve the cars in order instead of asking the customers to park some where else and wait. Maybe once they know how to handle multiple orders then only they can ask the cars to...
Read moreI'm finally done with hungry Jack's, tonight was the final straw, they had a deal $8.95 for a wopper & a rebel wopper (vegetarian), I asked if they can both be rebel woppers instead, to my surprise they agreed and told the kitchen to make 2 rebel woppers, we got our order then I had to drive my daughter half an hour away, lucky she managed to grab a rebel wopper out of the paper bag, then I went to have mine when we got to where we were going, only to discover mine was a regular meat wopper, I was finally able to return to the store two and a half hours later, the staff were really good and refunded my money.
It's not the staff I have a problem with, in fact most of your staff feel bad and don't agree with the extra charge, but they can't do anything about it, it's the pen pushes, the people who aren't on the front line, who have changed the operating system and their rules, all since introducing the vegan cheese burger, which has 2 veggie patties on it, which I find to much for me to eat, before that I was able to get stunner meals and other burgers with one veggie patty in replace of the meat patty for no extra charge, now they are charging an extra $1.75 to replace the meat patty for a veggie patty, then I was told the only burger you can swap the patty for the same price is the wopper.
So the other day I got a wopper burger for $4 on my shake and win, but what would you know, you can't even get a whopper without the meat, and one veggie patty instead now without being charged extra.
MY QUESTION AND COMPLAINT IS, how much money is being taken off for NOT having the meat in my burger?
I'm sorry.......what was that?....... Can you speak up I'm not sure I heard you right..... oooh you don't take any money off the price if someone chooses not to have the meat hmmmm, instead you charge extra, that's just pure greed on your behalf hungry Jack's.
Even McDonald take money off any burger if you don't have the meat in it, and they don't have a veggie patty on their menu to replace it, it's just good business, it's fair and morally the right thing to do.
SERIOUSLY HUNGRY JACK'S, I will not be returning to any of your stores or stop campaigning against the company until you start doing the right thing, because what you are doing is NOT acceptable, you're ripping us off!
The ONLY time it would be acceptable to charge extra is, if the veggie patty was an extra item and a person still wanted the meat on the burger as well.

Read moreMy partner and I wanted to try out the New Rebel Whopper burger so we went to the Narre Warren Vic store and nothing went right, we asked for 1 large and 1 medium Rebel Wooper meal we ended up after waiting 5 or so minutes with 2 Rebel Whopper burger 1 Cheese burger t hat we did not order and 1 small chips ???? Told the member my order was wrong she took the cheese burger away and gave us a large chips no refund for the cheese burger that they chared me for I was hungry so I c ould not be bothered waiting so we went to the table to have o u r meal and an other member came rushing over to say we had been given the wrong burger ?? What I said wrong again what's going on I had been given a Vegan burger instead so they changed it again so I asked the member I can start my meal now she just gave me the look. The burger I received was worm and cold in the middle I thought this was because of the amount of cold salad that was in the burger so I said nothing and left after our meal. Later on after getting home and going to bed I was awakened with pain in my stomach hot and very uncomfortable went to the toilet as I felt I was going to be sick and yes I was sick very much twice and not well for the rest of the long weekend. I sent an email to Hungry jacks about my experience and they were to contact me either by phone or email but up to now no reply have I seen or heard from there customer service team so thank you Hungry Jacks for my Food I am not a fast food king of a person I like to cook my own meals as I have done so for years as you never no what you get sometimes our how it's been prepared.
