Hungry Jack's Burgers Mill Park — Restaurant in Melbourne

Normally we go over the road to the Macca's, but decided on Hungry Jacks for a change last Saturday night. The food wasn't enjoyable. We got the regular items, Whoppers and Cheeseburgers, chips and drinks. Technically everything was there and fine. But the food lacked taste. I can't say what it was exactly, was it the bread - a little dry, the meat, the sauce, I'm not sure. My daughter only had a few bites of hers before she left the rest of it. But I can say that the burger could have been warmer. We're only a 5min drive from home, and we would have been eating less than 10mins after the food was passed to me over the counter. But the burgers were already luke warm at best. The cold ingredients had fast overwhelmed any warmth that was in the warm ingredients. Also the chips weren't salted. I saw the option for the salt when I was ordering at the kiosk. But I didn't pay attention to whether it was an add-on, or a take-off and left it. I just assumed the chips would be salted. I would have been upset if I'd been eating on the road with no options. Yeah, big nicely newly renovated place, lots of staff around, who were friendly, but the place was pretty quiet. The experience at this establishment left much to be desired. From the outset, it was clear that the place was poorly managed. After a recent visit the issues remain unchanged.

The food quality was subpar, lacking freshness or flavor, which made the meal entirely unsatisfying. Compounding the disappointment was the fact that their soft serve machine had been broken for weeks, with no apparent effort to repair it. For a place that likely relies on this feature to attract customers, this oversight felt inexcusable.

The lack of attention to maintenance suggests either a disregard for the customer experience or a reluctance to invest in the business. It raises the question: are they simply unwilling to spend money to fix these issues, or do they value profit over their patrons’ time and satisfaction? Either way, it leaves a sour impression.

Play area for kids can be better. I was here last week. It's unfortunate when one employees ruins the reputation of a famous fast food restaurant. I ordered for grilled chicken burger and I was given a dry patties. An old patties, just warmed up and served. It wasn't juicy and succulent like how it usually tastes. If I'm ever served such food again. I'll make sure to take a pic and post a review. 22-10-2018 : I ordered a grilled chicken burger via drive thru. Firstly, they got the order wrong. They charged me for 3 burgers when I ordered only one. This was inbetween 6:00 - 6:15pm. If Hungry Jack's can listen to the order recordings. Please do. Again I was given a dry patties.
