My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Kawanku recently, and I must say it was an experience to remember.

The menu offered a wide array of traditional Chinese dishes, and Malaysian dishes each prepared with an authentic touch. We started with the chilli and pepper fried chicken, which were really flavorful and crispy. The roti bread with peanut sauce was a standout for me.

I ordered the combination omelette which was super filling and really tasty.

Beyond the exceptional food, the service at Kawanku was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that my family had a memorable dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.

Went to this restaurant to try out their crispy calamari and other Malaysian Chinese dishes and I was not disappointed. Kawanku is a small restaurant out in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, set on a strip of restaurants. It is frequented by many customers looking for tasty food and value for their money. The most disgusting excuse for a restaurant I have ever encountered. The food is RUBBISH. The roti bread looked like it came out of a bin. The laksa tasted like dish water with soggy tofu and NO CHICKEN. So spicy it was inedible, despite requesting mild. DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM HERE!!! Horrible cr@p rubbish.
