Italian Chef Brighton — Restaurant in Melbourne

In March, my firm engaged Italian Chef to cater our corporate event for over 130 young professionals. This was our first time working with them, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget!

Simone and the team from Italian Chef were fantastic - delivering not only delicious dishes (the pasta alla ruoto was incredible) but also an unforgettable level of hospitality. Their friendly and efficient staff truly brought the authentic Italian charm to our event, perfectly complementing our ‘Italian Summer’ theme. They also helped us select some of their favourite Italian music to create the perfect ambiance for the evening!

We received excellent feedback from both internal and external guests, with many requesting the caterer’s details. The catering was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our event.

Been there thought ravioli were going to be nice as the name of the shop sounds cool as they make it fresh, but out of 50 filled ravioli we got in more verity they all opened up maybe 2 ravioli been a rulli closed…and very expensive to $39 per kg; I live with a great chef who knows exactly how to cook and time wasn’t the problem as the pasta was still raw and the ravioli were all open pretty much after 3 minutes we put them on the boiling water, so we ended up throwing all the ravioli, it was very disappointing! Plus we got some prosciutto thinking it was nice and very Italian with the Italian way of cutting it (fine e senza la cotenna) and it was the thickest prosciutto ever, and of course cotenna, everything I’d say except Italian…

DEFINITELY not going black! But thank you...

WOW. Not sure where to begin. We had the amazing team cater our 120 person wedding at a private residence. It was nothing short of INCREDIBLE!

We had so many compliments on the food and were so proud to see the guests devouring the Parmesan cheese pasta wheels. All dietary requirements were catered for with no issues, the vegan gnocchi was a huge hit!

The whole team were true professionals from start to finish. This is authentic italian food that is good for your soul!

We wish we could host another event just to have a taste of the amazing catering again.
