Four of us came to Jalisco Mexican in Windsor on a Friday evening for dinner. I was hoping for some share-plate options so that we could all try a little bit of everything. Unfortunately, it was all separate items. So, we ordered a range of different entrees, mains and drinks. The chargrilled corn was very small, so I wouldn't recommend it. The burrito, however, was generously portioned and quite filling and tasty. Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant was really lovely. The service and food were pretty good, hence I give it a 3/5 stars. Thank you to Jalisco Mexican for an enjoyable experience!

Delicious food and for a very good price. We went to Jalisco for dinner on Thursday night and were really surprised to see they had “Fajitas” in the menu. Not many places offer fajitas in Melbourne and if they do they are not made the real Mexican way. Anyway. We absolutely LOVED them! Meat was tender and well seasoned, and the veggies were fresh and tasty. Aside from this, we got a really good promo of one shot Tequila + one Corona for only $10. The owner and some of the staff were incredibly nice despite it being very busy. Definitely going back!

I knew what I was going to order before I walked in. I wanted tacos and I ordered tacos. Three of the little guys. I didn’t care what was in them so I asked for the chef to choose. I got prawns, chicken and chorizo. They were all solid. I appreciated the grittiness of the tortilla - Clearly have made the authentic way. A bit spendy but worth it.

If you're looking for an authentic Mexican experience in Melbourne, look no further than Jalisco. This hidden gem is a true haven for cocktail enthusiasts, food lovers, and tequila connoisseurs. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.

Jalisco boasts an impressive selection of cocktails that will transport you straight to the heart of Mexico. The mixologists behind the bar are true artists, skillfully blending flavors to create unforgettable concoctions. Each sip is a journey of taste, and with every cocktail, I found myself reminiscing about the flavors of my homeland and the comforting touch of my grandmother's cooking.

Speaking of food, Jalisco's menu is a delightful fusion of traditional Mexican dishes and modern culinary flair. The dishes are crafted with care and precision, showcasing the vibrant and bold flavors that Mexican cuisine is renowned for. From the sizzling fajitas to the mouthwatering enchiladas, every bite is a celebration of authenticity and passion.

What truly sets Jalisco apart is its extensive tequila collection. With a range of premium tequilas sourced directly from Jalisco, the birthplace of this beloved spirit, the bar offers a journey through the diverse flavors and nuances of tequila. Whether you prefer it straight, in a margarita, or as part of a tequila flight, Jalisco has the perfect pour for every tequila enthusiast.

But it's not just the cocktails, food, and tequila that make Jalisco exceptional; the service and ambiance are equally commendable. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about sharing their love for Mexican culture. Their recommendations and friendly smiles add an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Jalisco to anyone in search of excellent drinks, delectable food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that transports you to the heart of Mexico. The flavors will evoke memories of your homeland, and the soulful touch in every dish will remind you of the warmth and love of a grandmother's kitchen. Jalisco is a true gem that captures the essence of Mexico and delivers it with finesse in the heart...

Worst service ever. Had a table booked 3 days in advance, was running late, called 45 minutes before booking to let restaurant know and was told our table would be held. On arrival we were told there was a mix up and our table was given to someone else and were taken upstairs. After 5 minutes we were told a table was ready down stairs and were told to leave the upstairs area.

The table was in the beer garden where it was that loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Ontop of that we booked to eat in the restaurant not in a beer garden. When we asked to move we were finally taken to a table outside. Within 5 minutes of sitting at our third table a group of customers who were in the beer garden came outside right next to our table and started smoking next to us and leaning beers on the restaurant fencing right next to the table we were on, almost spilling beer on us and staff did not even try to move them on, luckily they were gone before our food came out.

It got worse from there though, the food was a solid 3/10. The rice tasted like packet rice from coles and the nachos were soggy like they had come out of a microwave. The burrito was average, nothing special.

I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It frustrates me that i had to pay for this garbage service and food. I am not one to complain but i felt compelled to leave a review due to how shocking the service and food was. I wish i had more hands so i could give this place 4 thumbs down instead of 2. They have also hidden my review from their facebook page instead of contacting me or replying to it to offer an apology for the atrocious time i had there. Shows the kind of customer service...

Poorly managed, clueless staff, food not worth the wait.

A group of five of us sat at one of the outside tables on a Saturday night. We ordered some drinks and nachos to share, with the intention of ordering dinner a bit later. This didn't happen, because our nachos took over 40 minutes to come. When we arrived there were less than 5 customers in the restaurant, and as we waited people that arrived after had food that arrived before ours. We asked four different waiters about our nachos before they arrived. We left after waiting 30 mins for tacos that never came. The manager didn't charge us for the nachos, but did say we should have told him when they were so late coming to the table. If we had to tell four seperate wait staff, and none conveyed it to the manager than there is clearly an issue.

On top of that, the nachos weren't even good. No colour from the oven, plate hpt like it had been microwaved. Not impressed. We had much better food at a restaurant further...
