Jamaica Blue Cranbourne Park — Restaurant in Melbourne

I used to love this cafe until maybe 18 months ago, when my meal and a friend's meal came out 10 minutes apart. Part of mine was wrong so sent it back. They then brought it out stone cold and I had to send it back a 2nd time. Since then I've only had coffee, which is always weak even when asking for an extra shot, so now I mostly avoid the place. This morning I found the other cafe in the SC closed so this was the only option and yet again I am dismally disappointed. First my drink was incorrect and had to wait for it to be remade. I then watched them deliver food to the wrong table and walk off as the lady called.oit multiple times to get their attention to tell the employee that they hadn't ordered food. The employee then took another 3 minutes before figuring out who had placed the order and taking the food over the them... most likely cold by then. My food finslly arrived, and the bread appeared to be thinly sliced wholemeal and was cold, certainly not what you expect when a menu says sourdough. Also, while the menu says feta, I got through then entire meal without seeing or tasting any feta at all. And the worst part is that it's supposed to come with a poached egg, which by definition means it should have a firm rounded white and runny yolk. Instead I was served something with thin flat egg white that looked fried and a hard dry, well done yolk. The place was only 40% full, so any rubbish excuse of the chef being busy would be false, not to mention it is not an acceptable reason anyway. Given the many months between ordering food at this cafe and the poor quality both times, the chef (or chefs) are clearly just crap and have no idea what they're doing. An utter waste of $20, and really only worth $12 for how bad it was. I would rather pay double at the other cafe, and I regret not waiting an hour for them to open. Better yet, if my car wasn't at the mechanic, I would have driven over to the cafe next to Woollies on Evans road, because their food is amazing and they never disappoint. Yes more expensive, but I'm happy to pay for good food. I definitely won't be eating at...

My wife and I went there for breakfast this morning after looking at the menu which was very limited we settled on eggs and bacon on toast I added mushrooms. My wife's food came out and I waited for mine to then see the stupid waitress take my plate to the customer who had arrived after we did. When we complained they appoligsed and said we are cooking it now My wife requested a discount since we were inconvinced there response was no. I demanded a refund and received it with some attitude from the owner and a mouthful of discussing words back from her right in front of other customers. After hearing what they heard from me when I was asked about what happened customers walked away in discust as they knew we were in the right after they heard the owner mouthing off in her establishment which was discusting. Never going there again, I'd rather starve next time. Very, very poor service and no communication from kitchen to wait staff. Absolutely discussed and to top things off being a restaurant never hecked ours or anyone's vaccination status as they were supposed to by law. They don't care about anything,...

Customer service was very lovely from the beginning. No menus on table, only 1 menu at the entrance which was occupied by other customers so we had to wait until they finished browsing, deciding and then ordering. No issue on this morning particularly but could be when busy.

Didn't take long for us to receive our food however coffees came out and had spilt on to the saucer not just a little but quite a lot and the ice chocolate wasn't very nice at all definitely would not recommend that.

Big breakfast was nice but compared to other cafe's very minimal and the cost to add things on is quite expensive. Eggs Benedict was okay, Sour dough toast was very hard and hollandaise sauce was almost tangy like. Eggs on toast was okay toast again was very hard and chewy not sure what happened there

Probably would not return, in comparison to somewhere like Coffee Club this definitely isn't worth it...
