A Deplorable Display of Service and Food
I don't make a habit of leaving negative reviews, but my experience at the Coffee Club Cranbourne was so abysmal that I felt compelled to share it with others in the hopes that they may avoid a similarly dreadful experience.
Let's begin with the food. I ordered a chicken and bacon club sandwich - a pretty straightforward dish, one might think. However, upon receiving my order, I found myself engaging in a game of 'Where's the Chicken?', as the sandwich appeared to be devoid of the said ingredient. When I highlighted the issue, the staff member's response was not only unprofessional, but downright unhygienic. He used his fingers to root around the sandwich and unearthed two paltry morsels of chicken legitimately the size of a twenty-cent coin. The fact that he referred to this scanty excuse for a meal as "portion control" was, quite frankly, insulting. This is a sandwich we are talking about, not a ration during a food shortage!
Moving on to the service, it was no better. While my partner was able to finish their meal, my food was left languishing under the heat lamps. In a restaurant, synchronicity in serving is key to enjoying a meal together. Alas, it seemed like the staff at this establishment were oblivious to this fundamental concept.
And so, I'm left with no choice but to express my profound dissatisfaction with this venue. I have frequented many cafes, and the Coffee Club Cranbourne easily tops the list as the worst. My advice to potential visitors: save your money and time by giving this place a wide berth. It is one coffee club you most certainly do not want to...
Read moreIt’s a Sunday afternoon and we have just walked into the Coffee Club Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre to be told first up “You need to order, our kitchen is closing in 15 minutes!”
It’s 1:45pm on a Sunday, the cafe isn’t packed but there are a few tables with patrons sitting down.
The business page and Face Book states that their hours of operation for a Sunday is until 5pm. This is the second time we have experienced this at the Coffee Club Cranbourne!
As members of the Coffee Club this does not look good at all for the name and business over all. It’s actually really disappointing as a customer to be greeted with “You have to order!”
We enjoy the food at all the Coffee Clubs and this is what brings us back again and again. Prices are a little high for what you get but as I said all up we love the food!
Service at Cranbourne could be a lot better. The service at the Coffee Club at The Glen is great and Parkmore shopping centre the service is great.
Water Gardens Coffee Club coffee and service was decent and Caroline Springs Coffee Club is a lovely and relaxed atmosphere and the service is great and the food is at a high standard.
Cranbourne Park Coffee Club you’re letting the business name and reputation down! Please pick up...
Read moreI’m currently on a visit to Melbourne and visit coffee shop in the Cranbourne Shopping Centre every day for a latte.
I usually get my coffee within five minutes
I ordered my coffee on 23/04//023 at around 10.20 am.
Since my coffee was not served for a very long time I went over to the counter and asked about my coffee. The staff member (Stewart). He told me very very rudely that the wait time for Cofee w 25 minutes and that I was free to take a refund if that not suit me.
I then told him that i could have been told when I ordered that this was the wait time. Again he very rudely said that I can take back my money.
I’m quite shocked and disappointed that Coffee Shop employ people with such manners in a service based business like theirs .
I must add that the other staff are always very courteous and polite.
I emailed my complaint on 23rd April and as of 28th April my complaint has not even been acknowledged.
It is now more than a year since I wrote a rework and Coffee Club have not responded.
My recommendation. You may go there is you like to be confronted by very rude and discourteous staff and an unresponsive business...
