Jamaica Blue Northland Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Melbourne

I had a lovely time here. I ordered a cappucino, wasn't bitter, was very nice, made by a gentleman who was very friendly. I also got two complimentary biscuits which were raspberry flavoured. I normally don't like small random biscuits but this one was nice.

We also ordered a ham cheese tomato toastie on sourdough which was actually very nice! The bread was so bready (I ♥ bread, could eat bread for dinner). We also ordered the Florentine. Nothing to complain about.

Lastly, we order the lemon sugar cupcake, seemed like a hit, during the time we were there, about 4 people around us ordered it as well. Just fluffy and the right amount of sweetness.

Nov 2023 - Stand alone business outside of Target so it is quiet unlike the main food court. Wife has previously eaten there but only had a muffin and coffee, recommending both. For lunch today we had a toasted chicken schnitzel roll with cheese and tomato. Chicken was processed meat with roll a bit dry. Served with a side salad and tangy dressing which was not too my taste. The usual I get everywhere: large skinny latte with honey. But at $6.30 here, it's anything but usual. Priciest I've had at a cafe. Offered mug or takeaway cup. Chose mug. Brought out in takeaway cup. No big deal for me with that, but we already weren't off to a good start with the pricing. Taste? Very ordinary. Not the strength of most other places. Never know until you try a place. So now I've tried it, and there's no lure to come back next...
