John's Hot Bread Shop — Restaurant in Melbourne

Stopped in for a quick lunch at this little suburban shopping centre. Had a few Banh MI's, Roast Pork and BBQ Pork. The BBQ Pork being the best. Generously filled, fresh crispy bread roll, with lots of fresh salads and tasty spreads with a little fresh chilli for a touch of heat. Only thing that would make it better would be a little more of the meat, especially in the Roast Pork roll. Reasonably priced at $6.30 each. Today I got a steak and onion pie it was terrible chunks of red onion cut up and put on top of what surpose to be meat and the apple turn over well that went straight into the bin so hard the pastry the lady I got them for couldn’t break the pastry to eat how disappointing that it now has horribly food once was the best place for cakes and pies bring back the old owner so much better will never shop there again so...

Worst bakery ! Owners are very rude and staff are terrible . Never come here !!! Food is rubbish . The old owner John was fabulous . Take off the business name JOHN’S BAKERY… You will never be as good...
