Wanted to love this Cafe and initially we did. Food was good and waiter was attentive and friendly when we arrived. They forgot part of our meal (surprising as the forgotten side dish was one suggested by the waiter himself) and it took awhile to find someone's attention to ask for the missing item. They don't write down orders and try to upsell literally everything. I was charged $2.50 for butter with my meal, which wasn't told to me and I can't find it on their menu as an additional cost anywhere. The waiter said 'do you want butter with your toast?'. And I said yes because who doesn't want butter on toast when ordering toast with eggs? Seems dodgy in my books and $2.50 for a teeny blob is ludicrous. We were going to come back but this soured our breakfast and we've decided we just can't support a business like that. You'd also be hard pressed to find more than 2g of goat cheese on...

Got there to have breakfast which was fine ... we decided to have the small cakes which the description didn't say it contains NUTS etc etc as soon as my daughter took a bite she had the reaction were we had to leave straight away but I asked the question as to why doesn't the cake have the ingredients on it and the manager answer she should have asked... that might be so.. I'm sure by law should they have it on??? Literally we turn the cnr were my daughter was worse called an ambulance two have arrive and ended up in hospital...when I call back the manager to tell her we had to call an ambulance she became defensive instead if trying to fix her problem... not...

Being an older lady, It seemed that I was forgotten for the workers that came in. 25 mins before my coffee arrived and my order was taken. I believe that was because I went to the counter to enquire too. I ordered the toast with homemade berry jam. Unfortunately it wasn’t a jam. There was no flavour in it and you had to pile it on. But all you got was that overpowering sour mixed berry flavour with no sugar . It was like they used the one they would put on their granola. Not jam Coffee was really really nice and definitely the best part of it. Will go back for takeaway...

Work has me out and about and i’m so glad i stopped in here. The girls at the front 👏 That is what good service looks like. You two deserve a big pat on the back for all the effort and care you put in to your food and coffee and each customer who walks in the door. 10 years i was a barista/muffin maker in Wellington. And yes that passionfruit muffin was a 10/10. And mum, you make sure you take a break :) Wished you guys were closer to me so I can get fatter hehe :) Reviews like this only happen for people like you. Because you guys deserve it 🫶

Went here to try and see what the rave’s about. Food is average for it’s price. Most people that walked in that day were not wearing masks. But how could they, when staff themselves are not wearing them properly. They did not even encourage anyone that came in without wearing masks to put one on. We ordered 4 breakfast meals for take-away - was seriously thinking of just cancelling as we felt very unsafe. But we also felt bad for doing so as it was a big order. So sucked it up. But will never ever go back here again.
